It is the diary of Tempest and Kitsuna. who crashed on a Rimworld and took it upon themselves to record their experience in a book for anyone unfortunate enough to encounter it.

Just as Sarah and Daniel started to develop feelings towards each other, Daniel's Mom announced that she is engaged and for that,Daniel's family has to move out of town. Unfortunately,Sarah was not willing to give up their newly develop relationships so therefore they have to make a decision in which they will be able to keep their relationships lively.
