In the secluded cottage of the dragon tamer Selwyn, an unexpected guest quite literally dropped in from the sky. The visitor, covered in wounds and clearly exhausted, had not a single truthful word to say. He claimed to be the divine heir to the throne and insisted that with just a little help, he could return to the divine realm to reclaim his rightful place. Loki: "I, the heir to Asgard, swear to make you a high-ranking official if you help me reclaim my throne—" Selwyn: "Hold on a second. These kinds of scam texts aren't popular anymore." —— The God of Mischief opened his eyes, only to find himself lying in a bubbling cauldron. His first thought? He was about to be cooked and eaten by some uncivilized savage. But after a moment of silence, the other person calmly explained: "This is a cauldron filled with dragon blood that can heal wounds." Loki: "…" On closer inspection, this person had rare spell-casting materials scattered all over the place! It was time to regroup and make his triumphant return to Asgard!

All I ever wanted was for famous detectives like Sherlock Holmes or Arsène Lupin to appear in my dreams and share their wisdom. But instead, why am I hearing the voices of notorious serial killers in my head, guiding me to solve a string of mysterious cases?

I can't explain why or how this cycle repeats for me. Yet, what I do understand is each time I die, I return to the starting point, a zombie apocalypse, and continue my journey anew. In my first apocalypse, I overlooked the creeping signs of doom until overrun by zombies in my flat, where I perished in sheer terror. The second attempt to alert others of the impending chaos fell on deaf ears; labelled a lunatic, I fled the city, only to succumb to starvation and exposure alone in the wild. By the third go, I sought safety in wealth, collecting vast supplies, yet fell victim to a brutal gang. Now, understanding the key—precise foresight, survival skills, strict secrecy, and solitude—I see the purpose in reliving this collapse. This time, failure is not an option. This time, I will survive and outlive the apocalypse.
