Heartbeat of the King
Introduction: Heartbeat of the King
“If your heart doesn’t beat, who will remember you?”
Every soul carries a Seal, a mark etched deep within the heart, resonating with the first Echo of fate. Echoes—anger, regret, love, fear—are not awakened by strength but by sacrifice. Power is no longer forged by swords but by emotion. The System, named Heartbeat of the King, decrees: “Power rises with the rhythm of your heart, but every beat takes a piece of you.”
At its heart lies Velheart Sanctum, a three-tiered academy of dreamers, warriors, and the forgotten: Surface, Core, and Shadow. Here, Seals are tested, and fates are forged.
But some hearts… never beat.
Riven Kael was born with a Seal of royal Echo, destined for greatness. Yet a shadow stole his fate before he could speak, silencing his heart and branding him an Anomaly. The System rejected him—not a student, not a hero, but Heartless. Burdened with repressed emotions and lost memories, Riven must awaken his own Echo, each step risking his humanity.
In the end, he faces a choice: to carry a heart or to force the world to hear his silence roar.
