In the year 2200, the world had evolved backwards when the existence of humans with superpowers continued to rise in numbers which led to numerous fights that would prove to break nations apart. Now, the circular nation of Aurum is one of the well known countries to have a semi-functioning civilization, composing of six districts. District 6 being the safest and 1 being the complete opposite when a catastrophic incident happened a hundred years ago that rendered majority of its citizens to become grotesquely mutated and driven to madness. The five districts, though each have their own motives and conflicts with the other, all have a shared common goal of making sure that no abominable creatures from District 1 can breach their territories.....as well as to discover the unique and lethal biome of the ruined district. In comes the creation of Iron Maiden Penitentiary, a hidden organization that deals with the most notorious of criminals that are at high risk of being executed or sentenced to life. Iron Maiden Penitentiary offers the convicted criminals of facing imminent execution or having their sentence reduced in exchange for exploring the dangerous prohibited District 1. Not a single batch has returned alive and any records of their findings is lost or destroyed in District 1. Once 30 of the convicted is filled, they are dispatched to the forbidden district, left to fend for themselves with limited supplies and recording equipment. It was either face execution or die trying. Either way, they were all breaching an unforgiving territory that was inhabited by hostile anomalies. Unbeknownst to them, the most dangerous inhabitant of District 1 is ever so ecstatic to have visitors. Althaea simply couldn't wait to become friends with her new guests.

First and foremost, the story, especially at the beginning, can have a slow pace to flesh out the world and characters. The plot will follow the parasite's second life in a new world in which Magic exists. Rather than focusing too much on non-stop and nonsensical fights, there will be a lot of focus on Arthur's psychological issues, his motives and beliefs. His views on the new world and opinions on moral relativism, the ruling aristocracy, the study of historical records and so on... Instead of a direct plot from beginning to end (Such as the generalized 'Defeat the Demon King), this story is more about self-discovery and the unravelling of ancient mysteries and forgotten history. It is about the character development of not only Arthur but other characters and how their actions affect the world. Arthur isn't inherently noble or unconditionally just, but he also isn't purely driven by lunacy or evil-oriented intentions. The MC is neither OP nor pitifully weak. This is not about someone reincarnated into a world just to become an undefeated force that simply kills everyone. There will be chapters dedicated to Lore or the travails of supporting characters. In the beginning, at least, it is more of a visual and numerical representation of the MC's growth as he learns more about his Race and what it is capable of. Without delving into any details, the following are what you will find in this story: Exploring the world; Meeting new people, discovering fascinating cultures, deepening one's understanding of existence's history, delving into Politics. At some points, the story will be dark and quite disturbing. Chapters are between 1500 and 3000 words. One last thing: I'm not a native English-speaker, therefore, my grammar isn't flawless.
