But fortunately somehow they survived, he didn't knew that he'll meet someone in the hospital who will give the love he was deprived of since birth. He'll meet his benefactor sent by the God. Guess this trouble was somehow blessing in disguise. . . . . Crystal was a intern doctor working in one of the hospital. One night her father called her and told her she has to marry someone he has arranged and she has no other choice. He also informed her that the guy he found is crippled so she doesn't have to make a fuss about this. Fate has it that guy she saved on the request of little boy is the same crippled man she is destined to marry. No one knows what this marriage will bring in crystal, Harry and the crippled man's life. Will they stay together or part their ways let's see. Excerpt Crystal was sitting in the greenhouse of her mansion which looked more like a jungle. A big black cat was lying near her feet. Its green eyes glinted darkly when it heard someone's approaching footsteps. Crystal looked up and saw Ivan dragging a bloodied man in the greenhouse. The man pleaded to her for mercy he said, "Please give me a chance. I wouldn't betray you again." Crystal closed the book in her lap and leaned towards the man and said, "Can you take away the pain my Harry is suffering from right now." The man cried loudly and pleaded for mercy again and again. Crystal was annoyed by his loud voice. She looked at Jade. Its black fur was shining in the sunlight. She asked, "Jade are you hungry?" Jade let out a roar and stood up elegantly. Jade took two steps back and jumped towards the man. She removed the man's hand in one bite. The man was eaten alive by the big black cat. There wasn't a sign of remorse on Crystal's face. After Jade was full she called servants to clean after her and Jade walked towards Crystal and laid down beside her leg and Crystal continued stroking its fur.

Then Dakota Ouray moves into town, and Jessica’s life is turned upside down... in more ways than she could imagine. Dakota is handsome and mysterious, but there’s also something different about him that she can’t quite place. There are murders happening in town, but only under the full moon. Jessica finds it strange, but quickly brushes it off... until she finds out the truth of her heritage. Soon, circumstances unfold and she discovers that the truth is more sinister than she thought. Can she and her pack stop this evil and save the town before it’s too late? *** “Are you sure you’re going to be okay?” Michelle asked. I really must have looked bad for Michelle to be this concerned. “I can drive you home and my dad can follow us....” Michelle rambled on, but I could hardly hear what she was saying. The buzzing in my ears was now a roar, like a freight train running back and forth through my head from ear to ear. “I have to go, Michelle,” I said, pulling away from the curb, barely giving her time to close the door as I sped off. But I didn’t make it home. I made it as far as Granby Lake when the shaking was so uncontrollable that I had to pull over. I threw the car into park and the keys under the mat in the driver’s seat. My body was shaking and quivering as pain coursed throughout my body. I screamed, almost a howl, as I ran for the woods. I didn’t know why, but I had the sudden urge to run, to let the coolness of the evening air soothe my skin... to be free. My body shook uncontrollably as I ran faster than I had ever run before into the forest. The quivering ran from my hands and traveled throughout my body as I ran even faster, pushing harder, losing control of my body. What was happening to me? I screamed as I looked down to see my hands shimmering, changing into giant silver paws, but my screams ended in a howl as the quivering traveled down the length of my body, morphing and changing every cell. By instinct, I leapt into the air and my clothes shredded into pieces. I landed on four paws, running even faster. To where? I didn’t know. Was I going crazy? I looked around and nothing looked familiar. Where was I? “This can’t be happening to me!” I thought, sprinting through the forest into the Colorado Rockies, as variations of pine and aspen rushed pasted. If I were in my human form, I would have been crying. As it was, dampness seeped from my eyes, soaking the fur underneath. I was almost to Wyoming when I heard voices inside my mind. I am going crazy! I thought to myself, as my powerful claws dug into the lichen along the forest floor, propelling my body even faster. To where? I didn't know. *** *AUTHOR NOTE: Please also check out my other books now available on Webnovel! The Lucky Farm Girl

After dying unexpectedly, she was reborn as a ten-year-old little girl in an ancient farming family, with barely a few rooms in her house and even fewer acres of land, not to mention a household of the old, weak, sick, and disabled. Fortunately, the elders in the family were kind and honest, her brothers loving and good-natured, and the neighbors harmonious and friendly. For Yang Mengchen, who had suffered from her relatives' torment and endured all sorts of mockery and scolding since she was young, this was truly a blessing from heaven. To support the family she loved, she resolutely took on the heavy responsibility of providing for them. If she, a modern corporate CEO who had once dominated the business world, couldn't feed a family, then who could? Pharmaceutical recipes, building greenhouses, opening storefronts... Not only did her family start living a comfortable and prosperous life, but she also led the surrounding villages in creating a magnificent pastoral scene! With money and fame, as she grew up, Yang Mengchen decided it was time to choose a husband, and thus, young talents from around the world began to flock to her. Who knew a grim-faced god of death would be blocking the entrance to the Yang family's home? "You're too tall, you're too short, you're too fat, you're too skinny, you're too dark, you're too pale, you're uneducated, you're deceitful and sly... All eliminated!" In a moment, the entrance was empty, and Yang Mengchen was instantly furious, "Prince, you've driven everyone away. How am I supposed to choose a husband now?" "I would like to see who dares to marry you. I wouldn't mind sending him to the Underworld as a groom!" Yang Mengchen... A certain Prince counted his merits on his fingers: "I have power, prestige, and substance, no concubines, no secret love affairs, no gallivanting— I embody the standards of a husband's three obediences and four virtues... In short, only I, this unparalleled good man, am worthy of you!" The guards: Oh wise and valiant Prince, is it really good to be so lacking in your role as a husband?
