Fallen from the Core
Once upon a time, a long time ago, a person appeared. Illuminated by the skies, with so much talent and also so much burden. With direct access to the world's source of power, the Core. That person became the ray of hope when monsters that seemed to come from hell appeared out of nowhere, targeting the souls of the pure children of Lorien, in those days the skies turned black and strong-hearted men feared for the future. This person, enlightened by the heavens, marched to war, winning battle after battle as if the creator was supporting him. But at some point this hero failed, but humanity won, or, so they thought.
The Core, the source of all magic in the world, has been tainted, corrupted. And everyone who touches it inevitably goes crazy. After society has reconstructed itself from near self-destruction by people who have gone mad with power, society has grown fearful of everything related to magic and mystical arts. However, the Core's call is strong, and some people are cursed with the gift of touching power.
But the thought of people's security and stability will not last forever. Ancient winds blow again, old powers return, and new curses arise. An ancient battle rages around them, but what can humanity do? They no longer have a hero to cling to.
--- Author's Notes
The synopsis didn't say much about the story, but, because this story is not focused on just one character, but on a small group of people who will reunite and separate, where each one has goals, but that will converge in the end. But I'm going to give an objective of two characters that I like a lot and are almost opposites in the spectrum of characteristics.
- Ronnan, a young peasant who has seen his two brothers run away from their homes for reasons that are beyond what the poor boy could have imagined. That's why he decides to go after them and finally ends up finding out about himself, about the world and about his brothers.
- Mathews, a Computer Engineering student fell into this new world and wants to return home, so he wants to create a radio to try to communicate with his world of origin, so he goes after objects from his world that ended up coming to this one new world like him. But he will eventually realize that things are more complicated than they should be, and that his knowledge will help him survive.
English is not my native language, so I ask you to ignore any errors that the text will present, mainly related to pronouns, for some reason the translator changes sometimes.
