Rune-Verse
In Genovia, power is defined by two things Genes and Runes.
Each person’s Gene is unique, granting them the ability to become Runics, masters of ancient magic and energy. But not all Genes are created equal, and the pursuit of power often leads to a dangerous path.
Arthur was born with the Crimson Fern Gene, a Gene deemed worthless by many. While others around him boast powerful and prestigious Genes, Arthur’s is dismissed as weak, fragile, and unworthy. Yet, there is a hidden darkness within the Crimson Fern, an ancient power that has long been feared and sealed away.
As Arthur uncovers the true potential of his Gene, he finds himself drawn to its forbidden power, a force that grows stronger with each use but takes a greater toll on his humanity. In a world where power means survival, Arthur begins to question the cost of his ambitions, as every step he takes toward greater strength brings him closer to the abyss.
The more Arthur unlocks the secrets of the Runes, the more his mind and soul begin to darken, blurring the line between hero and villain. The world around him trembles as Arthur's ambitions begin to challenge the very balance of Genovia. But as the shadows of his power stretch further, Arthur finds himself questioning: is he still the person he once was, or is he becoming something far darker?
