Almost 1000 years ago, when men sought to be like gods, the black Lily cult decided to make a god of their own, Damien, but something went wrong, turning the “god” into a devil. He caused havoc on the earth so much that heaven itself had to shut him down.
800 years later, Harriet Andrada Brown, a 17-year-old high school senior in her last year, who had been fascinated with the supernatural for as long as she could remember—more specifically, devils.
On the first day of her school field trip, she came face-to-face with a mysterious boy she had never seen before; he was about her age. She later came to know him as Damien. Through the excursion, they had various encounters that led her to believe he was no ordinary boy, but her curiosity ended as they graduated, putting an end to their meeting, or so she thought.
Months later, they find themselves at the same college. Convinced she’s being stalked, she decided to confront him, which ends up taking her to his home. Unknown to her, this boy, Damien, turned out to be a devil—the very devil she had been looking for all along. While in his house, she accidentally gets cursed, cursed to have a part of his power lodged in her, making her a target for the forces who want said power.
Now she’s living her life, trying to make it through each day with a death sentence around her neck. With the help of Damien and the other devils, will she survive, or will the curse cut her down before she can be saved?
