Our primary protagonist of the season, Ishibashi Susumu, wakes up and begins his day of straightforwardness and monotony; I also want to add this, he looks and acts extremely boringly! ...Two months after New Year's Eve, and I finally have a new individual to narrate, that took quite a long time... After finishing his schoolwork and seeing a friend of his in a rather... "unique location" ...He now finds himself assigned as the lead musician for a visual novel, what could possibly go wrong? Why don't we go observe his simple life shift into a somewhat comedic and romantic mess during this upcoming year? "Visual Novels— they seem simple to make, right?" This story is based 90% on the MC's perspective, so you won’t find me talking about other characters much. In other words, whatever the MC knows, you will know, and whatever he doesn’t know, you will most likely not know. In a world full of cruelty, where people live in bastions under the rule of tyrants on one side and face deadlier monsters on the other, life is reduced to a brutal hierarchy: the strong rule, and the weak perish. It's just that everyone's struggles are different.

That would be the only logical reason for her to make such a blunder. There was hope, she thought, as she clung to the possibility of salvaging something from this disaster. Turning to him, she forced a smile, “Is this your house? Are we in your house?” She asked, looking around the bedroom. Blake shook his head, “No. This is a hotel,” he said, and she nodded. “I see. It looks like quite an expensive hotel,” she observed, “What do you do for a living?” she asked, trying to keep her voice steady as she searched his eyes for any hint of affluence. Blake hesitated, his confident demeanor faltering for the first time. He looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’m... in between jobs,” he stuttered, avoiding her gaze. Delilah’s heart sank, disappointment crashing over her like a wave. “In between jobs?” she echoed, her voice tinged with disbelief. Blake seemed to sense her dismay. “I know it doesn’t sound great,” he said quickly, trying to reassure her. “But I’m working on a few things. I just need a little more time.” “You’re jobless,” she muttered to herself as reality sunk in. “How did you pay for this room? For the wedding bands?” She asked, and he winced. “I didn’t. I decided to go in the opposite direction from plots of similar stories. That's why I'll get most of the romance out of the way in the first 2 parts (loose plan). The rest of the parts will focus on world building and battles. If you think the protagonist is overpowered at the start...you have no idea. -the picture is AI generated and not an accurate reflection of the story. -I am a fulltime worker who writes irregularly and slowly (physical typing speed). I write when I can and will post once monthly. -nudity is depicted, but it is not of the 'ecchi' genre (hate panty shots and needless fan service that doesn't add to character development). -Intercourse happens but is not detailed. -this is a war stricken world, so unsavory things happen. Please keep that in mind for things unsaid but implied. I try to keep things as lighthearted as possible while trying to keep it as realistic as possible. -I wrote this as if watching it in my head, which influenced the writing style. Also, when reading novels, if there are multiple characters, I sometimes find it hard to distinguish who's talking as I can see multiple characters saying what was written. I decided to always make it clear who's talking, so it turned into a book/script/anime hybrid. -any feedback, including typos, are much appreciated.
