Marvel: Apocalypse

The novel "Marvel: Apocalypse" chronicles the epic journey of En Sabah Nur, later known as Apocalypse, a being of immense power and intellect. Over 5,000 years of history, Marvel's Apocalypse wages relentless conquest across the world, from ancient Egypt to modern times. Believing in "survival of the fittest", he manipulates and topples nations— Egypt, Okkara, K’un-Lun, and beyond—ruling as a godlike figure. Alongside his physical and mutant power, Apocalypse masters ancient magic, learning from sorcerers and mystic principalities alike, further increasing his dominance. By blending war, magic, and manipulation, Apocalypse shapes human history in his quest for ultimate power and immortality. Throughout the story, themes of power, identity, and evolution are central, as Apocalypse not only aims to rule but to redefine the destiny of the universe itself. Notes for the Readers - First things first, YES, English is my native language but actually not really, my first language was German but I came to the United States when I was eight so English is my BEST language. Second thing to note is that you do not have to be a Marvel comics reader to enjoy this, I REPEAT you don’t have to read Marvel comics to read this. I will do my best to explain everything as it comes along. I don't own any of the Marvel ideas that is instead Disney. If there is anything I missed or you do not understand in the story, post a comment. Multiple family members of mine are not Marvel fans but read this. The novel eventually will be about the God Emperor of the nation Okkara who as we know is Apocalypse (shout out to my Warhammer 40k fans!). The Egypt arc where he is “God-King” will be shorter and introduce Apocalypse which is then followed by one more arc, and finally he becomes the emperor of Okkara. This is where the kingdom building comes in, not so much in the Egypt arc. (As a side note, an Egyptian kingdom building novel would be cool.) After that he will improve Okkaran society and conquer various interest groups/peoples/nations around the world. He won’t conquer earth until after the third celestial host (2000AD). My main reason is not to mess up the timeline of the comics but also because the Celestials tell him to stay put during the second host along with the gods in 1000 AD, mutants have yet to rise in the general populace, and Gaia still has faith in humanity which she loses in the 21st century bringing the return of the Elder Gods to wipe out humanity (pollution has real consequences guys). Lastly, writing is freaking hard so support me and other writers. It is a lot harder than I realized I will be the first to admit, but I learned I do love this more than reading so I hope you enjoy my content. I publish 15 chapters ahead on Pátreon; the URL is https://www.pátreon.com/Fat_Immortal just change the “a” with a funny accent to a normal one.

In an apocalypse

Lewis Hamilton, an awkward bookworm and self-proclaimed nerd, steps out of the library one ordinary evening, only to awaken in a world that’s anything but ordinary. Rats the size of small dogs gnaw at his toes, the air reeks of decay, and the remnants of a crumbling town loom around him. He quickly realizes he’s not in his familiar world anymore. A strange message appears before him, informing him he’s been “selected” and transported to Sector Silva, an apocalyptic wasteland ravaged by centuries of darkness and power struggles. As he navigates this broken world, an ancient and mysterious being known as the Archivist oversees his every move. It offers him a lifeline: complete quests, earn points, and unlock skills to survive. Lewis’s abilities are now tracked as “stats,” just like in a video game, and he’s tasked with building his physical and mental resilience. Armed with his intellect, a plank of wood, and a digital system displaying his strengths and weaknesses, Lewis faces monsters, uncovers secrets, and encounters both friend and foe. Lewis, an introvert who’s always hidden his intellect, must now rely on his quick thinking and the survival skills he never thought he’d need. With each step, he earns Survival, Knowledge, Social, Mental Fortitude, and Exploration Points—each a building block toward his adaptation in this strange new world. But the Archivist’s intentions remain unclear. Why was Lewis chosen? And what ultimate test does the Archivist have in store? In Lone Scholar in Sector Silva, Lewis battles not only mutated creatures and harsh terrain but also his own limitations as he transforms from reluctant outsider to a force capable of thriving in this dystopian land.
