Oh, My God
** VERY LOOSELY BASED ON HADES AND PERSEPHONE**
Seeing her in deep thought, the God mused, “You aren’t obligated to believe me, but the point remains — you,” He hooked his finger under her chin to force her unfocused gaze to his, “belong to me. And I am not adept at sharing my belongings with anyone.”

A woman bound to duty. A God bound to fate. And a Goddess that will do everything in her power to keep them apart.
As a saintess-in-training, Clover knows better than anyone that getting involved with a God is nothing more than a death sentence. A God’s love has always led humans to one or two things: cursed or dead. They’re meant for being worshipped, not loved, her mother instills in her.
And yet, somehow, Clover finds herself second-guessing this sentiment when a particular God takes an interest in her and whisks her away to the Underworld as his unwilling prisoner. He strikes a deal with her - heal him of the curse that’s plagued him for a millennium and regain her freedom or lose her humanity and become his undying Queen — forever.
Humans had never been a point of interest for Aidoneus. He found them to be pathetic creatures that allowed their emotions to get the better of them — until he met her again. Suddenly, he could understand why men fought to the death and kings waged war over their lovers. As soon as her familiar eyes met his, he knew he would be willing to set the entire world ablaze to keep her warm.
He doesn’t mean to trap her in the Underworld, but he also can’t survive another century without her. This time, he would overturn Fate itself to keep her.
