Earth, thousands of years after the apocalypse. A boy with amnesia woke up in the middle of the Dregs, the worst part of Crimson Fungus City. The boy grows up and manages to become strong enough to pass an exam for one of the most prestigious jobs in existence, a Zephyx Extractor, someone that can harvest the powers of Specters. Zephyx Extractors have the power to travel kilometers in seconds, read minds, and destroy mountains. In this oppressive world, they are the only ones who can change their destiny. Sadly, the boy had already gained a power from a Specter in the past, which made him ineligible for the position. His dream was dead. Or was it?

tells the story of Rover Averway, a high school boy in a difficult situation. Indeed, the world he knew has been destroyed, replaced by a chaotic place, where walking corpses live and many nonsensical monsters begin to destroy human civilization. Will humans be able to survive the various nonsensical things or vice versa?

Elena meets many friends and foes, and she’s already involved in school activities. She thinks she’s safe in her school until monsters start attacking her. She learns that someone is summoning those monsters to kill her but she’s not alone because her friends do their best to stop those monsters from hurting her and anyone else. They also try to find out who is sending those monsters Elena's way. Could it be the witches who killed her parents or a new threat?
