VEIL OF FATE
In a world where destiny is a binding force, Wumian, a man marked by greed and ambition, finds himself locked in a brutal, life-or-death battle against his brother, a warrior of light who believes in the morality of their world. As thunder crashes and rain pours, their swords clash in a fierce duel, with each combatant questioning the righteousness of their cause. Wumian rejects the idealistic notion of morality, arguing that it is merely a justification for the powerful to control the weak. Driven by his desire to fight for his survival, he challenges the system that dictates their fate, questioning whether anyone truly knows what is good or evil.
As the battle intensifies, Wumian’s memories drift to a time long ago on a distant planet, where he, once a cold and calculating conqueror, pondered the very purpose of his existence. Having sacrificed everything, including his humanity, to fulfill a predestined role, he wonders if it was all worth it. With his fate tied to a world he no longer cares for, Wumian's desire to break free becomes all-consuming.
But when a powerful, mystical force intervenes, Wumian is suddenly thrust into a new reality—one where he wakes up in a different body, smaller and helpless. He now faces the terrifying possibility that his entire life has been part of a larger cosmic game, with forces beyond his comprehension orchestrating his every move. As Wumian struggles to regain control over his destiny, he must confront the true nature of his existence and the meaning of free will. Can he break the chains that bind him, or is he forever doomed to repeat his past mistakes?
