Star Crossed Show

The Pup Star

Della Draven, the beautiful twin sister of Snow Moon’s Alpha heir, seemed untouchable. It was no secret that she would give herself only to her fated mate, the one who would complete her, the other half of her soul. When Della discovers that she is pregnant, she is shocked to her very core. She knows that she did not give herself willingly, and even her own mother seems to think she should take a pill and forget all about what she can’t remember. Her pregnancy will paint a target on the status of her family, threatening to rob her brother of the role he has trained for his whole life, and making her the subject of public ridicule and shame. Della refuses to accept that there is only one way out of the situation she has been forced in to, and she cannot deny the bond she feels with the pup growing inside of her, regardless of how he got there. Never one to back down from a fight, she decides that she will do whatever it takes to bring HER pup into the world, even if it means leaving behind the only home she has ever known. After a cruel rejection, her heart and spirit could have broken completely, but it only strengthens her resolve. She will leave behind almost everything to start a new life, one where her pup will be loved and celebrated. She will leave the world of werewolves to live as a human. She can’t help but worry that the past will rear it’s ugly head and threaten the happiness she has built, especially when her mate finds her and she finds out his true identity. The web surrounding the truth unravels, threatening to shake the very foundation of werewolf society. As Della and her family are pulled into a dangerous game, her son’s musical talent propels him into the spotlight of the human music scene. As his fame grows, so do the threats to Della’s family, and to werewolves everywhere. Will her son be the one to bring peace among humans and werewolves, to bring much needed change to werewolf society, or will his truth start a war? All Della can do now is hope that the world is ready for the truth, because it is coming, whether they are ready or not. Full of twists and turns, this story churns faster and faster towards an epic revelation that will change the world as everyone knows it. check out my official author site on Facebook, dianefosterunofficial. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1Q68L2hLTA/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Into the stars

It all began in the grim aftermath of a devastating mech war on the desolate planet Virelia-7. The battlefield stretches endlessly beneath twin suns, littered with the ruined remains of massive mechanical titans and fallen warriors. Amid this vast graveyard of steel and death, a lone 15-year-old boy awakens—injured, disoriented, and alone. His body is battered, his clothes tattered, and his memory is gone. He doesn’t know his name, where he came from, or what side he fought for. All he remembers is the sky. Around him, war machines lie shattered, their pilots still strapped in their death positions. Clan insignias—the lion’s head torn in half and the twin-bladed wing—decorate broken steel, but they mean nothing to him. He wanders the wreckage in confusion, haunted by the stillness of it all, until hunger drives him into action. Strange scavenger creatures called Black Ravines pick at the corpses. Birdlike in shape but entirely alien, with bone-hooked limbs and oily feathers, they feast on the dead without fear. Desperate, the boy tries to hunt one but fails. On instinct, he plays dead, and when one comes close, he kills it with a shard of mech metal and devours it raw, choking through nausea to survive. Unbeknownst to him, his mind is fractured into three entities:1) The Amnesiac Self – the current version of him, living moment to moment on raw survival instinct. 2) The Aggressive Voice – violent, impulsive, and bloodthirsty. It tempts him to surrender control for power. 3) The Calculative Voice – cold, brilliant, and tactical. It watches from within, feeding him strategic thoughts and survival data when he’s close to death.

Catalyst Cross Lesio

Naph had a couple of years of extremes. One year, he was trying to chase down a few rats in a desert. Another he was hunting bears in a river. There was a year when he just chilled himself on a beach. His volatile heart mayhems his life. This time his hunt had a different breed entirely. Named Bulwark. Quite the bounty on such a name. The only requirement? Bring the head back clean and without damage. Hunting was a sport. At least that’s what he had learned by watching others. Every adult showing off their repertoire of the dead. His volatile nature and teen years hadn’t taught him whom to show off or not. Bulwark was his first human kill. Yet it was his first insight into what a ‘catalyst’ could do. His survival had been on his intellect earlier, but not anymore. The world responded. He ran. Ran into things he hadn’t heard. Will the world make him another number in its long list of the dead? Or will he learn its truths? Will he know of the unspoken words he hadn’t processed? His heart a volatile entity; the world a raging a beast chasing him. And a few words that he didn’t knew- yet one etched itself in: “Cata”. ---------------------------------------------------- This story is also available on RoyalRoad.com with the same title "Catalyst Cross Lesio" with the username 'alex_reads'.
