I won't be profiting from this. Just want to share this great book with my fellow readers. Hope you enjoy this. The Mirror Legacy is a novel covering Drama, Fantasy, Martial Arts, Seinen, Tragedy, Mature, Xianxia, Psychological, Mystery genres. Written by the author Ji Yueren. ------------------------------------- A message from the Translator: Heya, it’s Crow, the translator for The Mirror Legacy. I’m glad to have the opportunity to translate one of the top ten books on Qidian. This is perhaps a different type of Xianxia novel that is quite unique in its own right. Instead of following a single main character through the story, there are no main characters in this novel, or maybe everyone is a main character. After all, the main focus of the novel is the characters rather than cultivation. If I have to describe what this novel is like… then I’d say it’s a Sims 4 Legacy Challenge, but set in an eastern fantasy world. If you can find satisfaction in watching generations of a family building themselves up and enjoy books with good characters, then this is the novel for you. The story progresses slowly in the beginning, making this a great read before your bedtime or on a lazy afternoon in the cafe with a cup of tea in your hand. (You may also need a tissue box for your tears, that’s all I’m going to say.) The story starts with a guy named Lu Jiangxian who died after staying up till late to work. He transmigrated, not as a human but a mirror (a broken one at that)! Upon discovering that he could absorb the essence from moonlight and gain power from it, he decided to find ways to restore his mirror body and find out its origin. He was later picked up by Li Xiangping, a teenager from a humble farming family that soon discovered that the mysterious artifact they found could turn mortals into immortals. With such a powerful artifact in their house, they feared that tragedy could befall their family. There was only one thing for them to do—become powerful to protect their secret and family!

Unable to sleep, she wanders the campus at night and discovers a hidden, magical garden glowing with moonflowers and jasmine tended by the enigmatic Midnight Gardener. This mysterious figure, cloaked in a long coat and hat, teases out Rossie’s secret feelings for Michael, offering her a moonflower that pulses with light and thrives on truths. The Gardener’s cryptic advice and the garden’s strange allure pull Rossie into a web of self-discovery. Driven by rumors, Rossie visits the old library to confront a cursed mirror said to reveal one’s destined love or greatest loss. To her shock, the mirror first shows the Gardener’s face, then Michael with her rival, Angela, fueling her fears of rejection and inadequacy tied to her parents’ divorce. Returning to the garden, the Gardener suggests the mirror reflects her fears and not fate, urging her to face her truths without anxiety. Emboldened, Rossie confesses her feelings to Michael in the courtyard, learning he likes her too, though rumors and Angela’s influence complicate things. Their playful banter sparks hope for a deeper connection. However, during a literature class, Rossie is haunted by the Gardener’s spectral presence, visible only to her and a chilling message on the chalkboard: “The garden’s watching.” Her outburst in class draws attention, but the Gardener vanishes, leaving Rossie questioning reality. As she grapples with the Gardener’s cryptic influence and her own insecurities, Rossie realizes she must confront her fears to pursue her feelings for Michael. The story blends magical realism with a coming-of-age narrative, exploring themes of love, self-doubt, and the courage to face one’s truth.

The Impossible World Of Duties

Synopsis: of the impossible world of duties After the death of his mother, Lucan was raised by his strict, rule-bound grandmother. She taught him to obey without question, respect old traditions, and—above all—stay away from one thing: “Never touch the mirror in the hallway.” Lucan kept his promise. Even on her deathbed, his grandmother made him swear never to go near it. And he did. But promises are fragile. When Lucan’s school bully, Leo, and his gang show up at his house one day, everything unravels. In the chaos of teasing and threats, Leo finds the forbidden mirror. Curious and mocking, he pushes Lucan toward it. And in a single moment, everything changes. Lucan grabs Leo’s shirt to steady himself—and both boys are pulled into the mirror. They awaken in a twisted, dangerous world governed by strange rules, deadly duties, and a brutal point-based survival system. Everyone is forced to complete tasks, earn points, and fight to live. The system gives Leo extraordinary gifts—super strength, speed, and the body of a powerful adult. He’s hailed as a chosen one. But Lucan? Nothing. No power. No title. No role. Just… forgotten. In a world that rewards strength, Lucan is invisible. Weak. Unarmed. Powerless. But not useless. Because while Leo charges ahead without thinking, Lucan watches. Learns. Understands the system’s deeper logic—flaws, patterns, rules no one else sees. His power may not be strength, but strategy. Still, in a world where pain is currency and losing means death… Can intelligence alone outlast brute force? And in a place ruled by duty—whose rules truly matter?
