The guard knocked again, calling my name, and Mei struggled harder. "Cheng, please," she said, her voice cracking under the strain. But I didn't budge. Finally she muttered, "Fine. I forgive you." "I forgive you, you crazy jerk." "You really mean that?" I asked, my voice barely audible. She nodded, exasperated, and only then did I release her. Just as I did, the door swung open, and I barely had time to step back before the palace guard entered, the guard rushed in, his face pale with worry. It was a close call. too close, but I didn't care. Mei flinched at the intrusion, but quickly composed herself, stepping away from me to a more respectable distance. The guard, wide-eyed and clearly flustered, fell to his knees in a bow. "My deepest apologies, Your Highness. I called for you several times but received no reply. I entered out of concern, fearing the worst." I glanced at Mei, but she wouldn't meet my eyes. She simply gave the guard one last look and walked out, leaving the room without a word. I let out a long, exhausted sigh, running a hand through my hair, still reeling from everything that had just happened. Turning back to the guard, I motioned for him to stand. Excerpt* As Cian removed his jacket, revealing a serpent-like tattoo on his chest, a chill ran down her spine. “Who sent you?” she asked, her voice quivering as she clutched the sheets tightly around her. Cian smirked, “Which insignificant creature would dare to command me?” Confused, she glanced at the doors, praying for someone to walk in and save her from this dangerous stranger. “Then why are you here?” she managed to ask, her heart pounding in her chest. Cian casually tossed his jacket onto the nearest chair, revealing his muscular chest and the glowing, serpent-like tattoo that coiled around it. “For you, sweetheart,” he replied, his voice deep and seductive. She stared into his piercing, emerald-green eyes, awed by their luminescence. They seemed to pierce right through her, illuminating her heart and igniting a fire within her that she couldn’t quite extinguish. As Cian moved closer, he bent down to look her directly in the eyes, his gaze penetrating. “Marry me,” he whispered, his voice low and dangerous. She recoiled in horror, pushing his hand away as she tried to back away from him. “Pardon me, my Lord, but I must refuse your offer,” she said, her voice shaking with fear. Cian let out a low, sinister laugh as he pulled off his shirt, revealing the full extent of the tattoo that seemed to writhe and twist on his skin. He crawled onto the bed, pinning her down as he loomed over her. She struggled against him, trying to break free from his grip, but he was too strong. He leaned in close, his breath hot against her skin as he whispered, “Sweetheart, what is mine is mine, and what is yours is mine.” “She froze, her heart racing as she realized the danger she was in and how ridiculously aroused she was getting. Cian, with his piercing gaze and devilish grin, knew exactly what he was doing.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be in a novel but you're not in any way connected to the protagonist. If you think this is your usual novel about becoming the protagonist well then you're wrong because I despise that word and this world too. The world can be a lie today, a game tomorrow or on the brink of collapse the next second. I don't really care just as long as I'm not the protagonist or even a character in the novel no I'm one of you

In the old grave on the mountain, the tattoo artist swallowed a condom containing a key chip to protect the evidence, and used his body to block the entrance of the grave to protect Little Butterfly. When the old bachelor found out that he was lying, he stabbed him with a knife. At the critical moment, Little Butterfly pulled out the knife from the tattoo artist's abdomen and stabbed the old bachelor, completing the transformation from victim to rebel. At this moment, Little Butterfly finally achieved nirvana from butterfly to phoenix.

Any normal person’s eyes would burn if they looked at her for more than a second. After her rebirth, she looked differently at him, thinking that maybe he changed for the better? In the past, her mind was muddled. She let go of a stunning husband, was hurt by a scumbag and backstabber and most of all, was brainwashed by her most trusted friend. In the end, she was utterly alone. In her current lifetime, there are evil people scheming and eagerly waiting for her downfall. Sorry, but this girl won’t fall for the same tricks twice!

He was entrusted to look after Shen Hua. Why not just marry her? He thought. Since Shen Hua reincarnated, she had focused all her attention on the embroidery business. She hoped to change her life and regain her former glory. When she heard about Cui Yun's decision to marry her, she fainted on the spot. After waking up, she turned him down with tears in her eyes. "I don't have very long to live. I don't want to waste your time." Cui Yun was very considerate. "It's not a big deal. I know you feel touched, but there's no need to cry. He was a tough one, he refused to stare at me, he just kept his focus on the road. "Awww, am I not tempting enough to steal your attention?" I said mocking how focused he was. I caught his eyes moving from me to the road. I have gotten a reaction "So I am tempting?" I asked with a  smirk plastered on my face. I got my legs off the dashboard and moved closer to him resting on the armrest and holding my amused face  "Do you want to see a very cute tattoo?" I asked and purred in his ears, he did not answer me but I knew I was affecting him. "So you do not want to see?" I asked faking a   frown and pouting  "I do" he said in a rushed tone, someone is excited, he turned to look at me and caught my smirk "I knew you would" I said. I tugged the neck of my shirt to make it lower to reveal the tattoo I had on my chest. "You like?" I asked He nodded and turned to look at the road. "Aww you are looking all red and stuff" I teased and poked him for added effects. "I had no idea boys could be this red" I added and continued to tease him with my laughter 'I think he has had enough teasing for a day'   my subconscious reminded me. I turned to look at Sebastian, he was red and was gripping the wheels like his life depended on it. He really makes teasing easy but not fun, he is not flirting back, making me look like a whore 'You are one' my subconscious reminded me again, I gasped and smirked 'Am I?' I wanted to laugh at my own joke but I do not think Sebastian is ready for more craziness. I sort of miss Regina, sorry my room, I might be asleep right now or trapped in a book, got to keep straight A's.
