Me And My Boys

Half me and half...

"Get your hands off me!" she almost shouted, wrestling against my grip, so I held her even tighter. "Put this on!" I groaned, toiling to keep her in place and wishing again I’d worn the damn gloves. The feel of her warm skin under my arm and palm wasn’t helping my focus. "I'm not taking you home like this!" "You don't tell me what to do!" she snapped, thrashing to break free of my hold as I fumbled with the cloak in my other hand, trying to drape it over her bare shoulders. "I'm not going home! Let me go, I said!" "Did you really think I got you out of there just to let you wander the streets, almost naked, like a lunatic?" That stopped her. "What did you call me?!" "LU-NA-TIC." "You... You…! Take your hands off me, you insolent brute!" Enraged, she yanked her arm too abruptly and lost her balance. I caught her, wrapped her in the cloak, and threw her over my shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN!" She shrieked and flailed, but I ignored her, making my way to the Commander’s house, which, thanks to Braa, was only two streets away. Since the entire population was in the square for the ridiculous festival, no one intervened at the frantic cries of the wild creature. No wonder in the ten years I've known the Commander, I've never heard that he has a daughter. She must’ve been kept locked away. Strangely, she suddenly went still and quiet. Had she grown tired, worried about attracting attention, or finally realized how inappropriate it was to show up at her parents' doorstep in this state? She didn’t seem to care before. With every step, my anxiety grew—she was limp. "Hey!" No answer. Seriously?! "Hey, you!" Nothing. A bad feeling crept over me, so I pulled her off my shoulder and into my arms. Her head fell against my chest—unconscious. "Hey! Hey, you!" I shook her, but she didn’t react. Panic surged through me. Had she fainted? Had I held her too tight? Lifting her more securely, I sprinted toward the Commander's house.

I morphed into your brother and the water you drank put you to sleep.” “Anything you are not telling me?” she eyed him suspiciously. “Well, Engel came to see that night and I transported your illusioned body to a room in the penthouse.” “Anything else?” “Your so-called mates came to see you the next day.” “Who? Aren’t you my ‘mate’?” she looked very confused at the mention of 'mates'. (Cutting part of the scene) “I morphed into you and gave them a little scare. They must be searching for you right now.” “You are quite sneaky... Hope anyone who comes across my novel enjoys.

Helen and me

“Come over here_ Lilly dear please come, I told you not not to go too far, Lilly dear” she calls again as the pretty little girl ran into her waiting arms. She was her mother's image, the same brunette hair, blue eyes, full lips and well-structured cheekbones. Both mother and child were beautiful as they hugged. Helen’s heart began to beat fast as she watched her husband's mistress with this beautiful child. They were in a busy mall but it was beginning to feel like a lonely hallway. “Oh my god, it can't be, it just can't be” Helen began to pray in her heart. “Come on baby let's go, the mall is no longer safe,” Victoria said, sizing up Helen from her face to her heavy baby bump. “And why is that?” the little angel asked in her most angelic voice. “Because there is a thief in here, who specializes in taking people's man” she informed. “Is this the woman who stole my daddy?” the little girl asked. Helen was hurt and ashamed and wished those passing by would not hear the little girl's question. “My God! What has Ramsey made me do?” Helen muttered as the child's questions confirmed her fears. She stole her father away from here. “Yes,” Victoria answered with a smile. “I hate you” the child announced and ran off. “Lilly! Lilly baby, don't run away from mummy” Victoria called and pursued after the child. Helen wanted the ground to open up and swallow her. It is true. She was married to a monster.
