I Swapped in for the Dragon King's Bride
Tama Raveene (16) is a personal healer and a best friend of the sickly Princess Amida of Hasurei. When the Queen arranges a marriage for Princess Amida with the cruel king of the enemy kingdom of Drahvelt, Tama volunteers to impersonate Amida and go in her stead.
Princess Amida's marriage with the ruthless Dragon King is the only way to avert a bloody war, so Tama's mission is critical. However, as the dragon-loving geek and the possessor of Vision (the power to travel through Dreamscape in her sleep), seeing the strange dreams of a dragon familiar each night, it's difficult for the quirky and energetic Tama to impersonate the "sickly and secluded princess of Hasurei" that Amida is. Adding to that, her husband, 26-year-old King Gerart von Drachenwelt, turns out to be not as "bloodthirsty" in person, so the two begin to develop a camaraderie, much to Tama's shock.
Meanwhile, Princess Amida's brother, Prince Ishgal of Hasurei, plans to usurp the throne. He allies with the power-hungry cardinal Dracul Rochefeu of the Rose Church, who is at odds with the Queen. The conflicts are brewing and the war seems imminent. Can Tama avert the horrors of war while playing the Dragon King's bride?
