D’abord persuadée de devenir folle, elle finit par comprendre que quelque chose en elle est "activé". Chaque épisode suit une nouvelle mort — parfois accident, parfois crime. Mais plus elle aide les morts à résoudre leurs affaires inachevées, plus elle découvre que certains secrets devraient rester enterrés… Et que quelqu’un d’autre dans la ville semble avoir les mêmes capacités qu’elle. PERSONNAGES PRINCIPAUX Love Hensley : protagoniste. Sarcastique, solitaire, mais attachante. Sa relation avec la mort est plus saine qu’avec les vivants. Jean-Claude : son oncle. Il cache un lourd passé et semble en savoir plus sur les dons de Love qu’il ne le laisse paraître. Capitaine Mendy : policier mi-croyant mi-sceptique, fatigué de tout, qui commence à suspecter que Love l’aide à résoudre ses enquêtes de manière "non naturelle". Margaux : fantôme récurrent. Ancienne infirmière morte dans des conditions étranges. Elle est sarcastique et devient la voix intérieure de Love (qu’elle n’a pas demandée). Suicide : le chat. Il ne parle pas, mais il a vu des choses. Beaucoup de choses.

After a small hesitation, he reached for the box next to Greed, and put it in his cart. When Pride patted his ear he let out the breath he’d been holding as a wide smile spread over his face. Hell yeah! I finally did it! After three months, they, no he, managed to stand his ground. Ryan, the security guard, watched the young man… talk to a box of cereal. All the fucking crazies around here, he hated it when they started talking to themselves. Never knew when one would get violent… at least this kid was a regular… always talking to fruits, vegetables, sometimes the occasional discounted meat.
