Edward Tank Engine

Static Bride

Book 1 in the planned trilogy The Girl Who Sang to the Engine. In a parallel reality where humanity thrives on Ether-a mysterious energy derived from the alien element Anonium-progress comes at a hidden cost. Unbeknownst to society, their reliance on Ether awakens a cosmic Eldritch machine known only as the Engine, whose cryptic motives remain shrouded in static and whispers. Amid this unraveling world, two high school girls emerge as unlikely players in a cosmic game they don't yet understand. Rachel Harper, captain of her basketball team, discovers she has the ability to manipulate time-but each use leaves behind faint traces of static, distorting her reflection and eroding her sense of self. Her best friend, Emily Voss , foresees fragments of alternate lives-all ending tragically-and fears she's next. Together, they stumble upon clues linking their fates to the Engine, though neither understands why. Haunted P.I.A. agent Elijah Carter arrives in Corwood, Tennessee, tasked with investigating reports of anomalies tied to the town's new reactor. A seasoned tracker with the rare ability to see residual echoes of paranormal events, Elijah quickly realizes he's dealing with something far beyond his usual assignments. Meanwhile, drug lord Dezerea Hernandez floods the streets with Gloom, a substance transforming users into static-ridden husks called Hollows to flush out a threat to humanity. As Rachel grapples with her growing bond to the Engine, she risks losing herself to its cold logic. Meanwhile, Emily battles insomnia and visions of her own deaths, desperate to break free from fate's cruel grip. With the Engine's awakening imminent, humanity stands on the brink of collapse-or rebirth. But can two teenage girls rewrite fate before time runs out? Warning: This book is a Meta Cosmic Horror Trilogy, contains violence, psychologically disturbing images, heavy foreshadowing, red herrings, fourth wall breaks.

SPACE COLONIST: in the oceanic world ARK

#Synopsis: ------------------------------------------------------ In the far future the planet earth is full, and thanks to 3 key technologies, genetic manipulation, cryosleep, and advanced space engines, humanity builds deep space spaceships and launch themselves to the unknown confines of space to forge a new future away from home. Follow our young engineer Erik as he starts on his first job at the young age of 60 years old in future earth where humans will live hundreds of years, he will reach an unknown place with his spaceship by accident and to survive he will have no choice but to explore alien structures and hunt dangerous monsters to get stronger, making alliances with the locals in more than friendly terms sometimes. ------------------------------------------------------ The protagonist is a young 60 years old "young" engineer, he's easy-going and a good guy, he's been trained so he will know what he's doing most of the time, in "Chapter 1 - A New Beginning" he will explain more, as a human from the future where bodies are just flesh containers, he's fairly openminded (kinda like "Altered Carbon" from Netflix, but different, you can go one day to a genetic center, pay, and get inside a liquid tank and then, the next time you open your eyes your body has already changed, then you get your ticket and go home just like that, but combat modifications would be regulated). ------------------------------------------------------ Hi, NirvanaPenguin here, suggestions on the story are welcome, this is a book I'm gonna write for fun and to get better at writing in preparation for a story I will start next year. ------------------------------------------------------ Discord: https://discord.gg/WPM7a4Dp4J Reddit: www.reddit.com/user/NirvanaPenguin/ Twitter: @NirvanaPenguin Post a review if you liked the book to help me get exposure, thanks. The book cover was drawn by myself(not the background though), I will try to make or pay someone to make a cooler one in the future though. ------- Spoiler?: Inspiration for the octopeople. - Asari from Mass Effect. - sea horses. - subnautica all beings reproduce that way.

Celestial Love : "A love across the Worlds" (Season 1)

**Summary of the Novel:** *Alice, an alien girl from the distant "Cape Town Planet," finds herself stranded on Earth after losing her signal device. She is far from ordinary—Alice has superpowers and, when she inhales the hormones emitted by human males, she enters a "flowery state" that unlocks her deepest inhibitions. While trying to blend in with human society and repair her signal to return home, she encounters Edward, a powerful CEO who suffers from a mysterious condition: "rainy weather heterosexual amnesia." Whenever it rains, Edward forgets the women in his life, including Alice.* *Despite their otherworldly differences and Edward's strange affliction, a quirky and passionate romance blooms between them. Alice, using her alien abilities, helps Edward navigate the challenges of his life, while Edward finds in Alice something he’s been missing—a love that makes him feel truly valued. However, their budding relationship faces obstacles, including the rivalry between Edward and his brother Andrew for Alice’s affection, and Alice's inner conflict about staying on Earth versus returning to her home planet.* *As the rainstorms grow stronger and Edward's amnesia worsens, Alice becomes determined to help him, even as her own time on Earth grows short. The two share moments of love, laughter, and struggle, but in the end, Alice is forced to make the heartbreaking decision to return to her planet. Their love remains incomplete, leaving a sense of unfinished business between them.* *With Alice gone and Edward left with only fading memories of their time together, the story ends on a bittersweet note, promising that their love story will continue in a second season, where they will fight against the odds to reunite across the stars.*

As the streets fill with the undead, Uma and Edward, tough and smart, must navigate their way through a city on the brink of collapse, joined by a group of survivors in search of their loved ones. With the government choosing to ignore the crisis and gang leaders exploiting the turmoil for power, the twins quickly realize that surviving isn’t just about dodging bites. It’s a fight for their humanity against corrupt forces, dangerous alliances, and an army of the undead. But there’s more to the outbreak than meets the eye. Rumours spread that the virus wasn’t just an accident, and the twins soon find out that the plague was made possible with the help of a foreign hand. As the world falls apart around them, Uma and Edward must face a bitter truth: the real monsters aren’t always the ones that hunger for flesh. In a city where greed, violence, and ignorance rule, will these two young students find the strength to survive the painful truths and make it back to their loved ones, or will they become victims of the undead, the gangs, or the politicians who’ve betrayed them all? PROLOGUE: WRITING A SET OF all possible character strings. All possible books would be contained in that. Most unfortunately though, there is no guarantee whatsoever you would be able to find within it the book you were hoping for. It could be you might find a string of characters saying, “This is the book you were hoping for.” Like right here, now. But of course, that is not the book you were hoping for. I haven’t seen her since then. I think she’s most likely dead. After all, it has been hundreds of years. But then again, I also think this. Noticing her as she gazes intently into the mirror, the room in disarray; it is clear that centuries have flowed by, or some such. And she, perhaps, has finished applying her makeup, and she is getting up and is going out to look for me. Her eyes show no sign of taking in the fact that the house has been completely changed, destroyed around her. The change was gradual, continuing, and even long ago she was not very good at things like that. As far as she is concerned, that is not the sort of thing one has to pay attention to. Not that she is aware, but it seems so obvious, she doesn’t need to care about it. Have we drowned, are we about to drown, are we already finished drowning, are we not yet drowning? We are in one of those situations. Ofcourse, it could be that we will never drown. But think about it. I mean, even fish can drown. I remember her saying meanly, “If that’s the case, you must be the one from the past.” It is true of course. Everybody comes out of the past; it’s not that I’m some guy who comes from some particular past. Even when that is pointed out, though, she shows no sign of backing down. “It’s not as if I came out of some bizarro past,” she said. That’s how she and I met. Writing it down this way, it doesn’t seem like anything at all is about to happen, right? Between her and me, I mean. As if something could ever really happen. As if something continues to happen that might ever make something else happen. I am repeating myself, but I haven’t seen her since then. She promised me, with a sweet smile, that I would never see her again. For the short time we were together, we tried to talk about things that really meant something to us. Around that time there were a lot of things that were all mixed up, and it was not easy to sort out what was really real. There might be a pebble over there, and when you took your eyes off it it turned into a frog, and when you took your eyes off it again it turned into a horsefly. The horsefly that used to be a frog remembered it used to be a frog and stuck out its tongue to try to eat a fly, and then remembered it used to be a pebble and stopped and crashed to the ground. With all this going on, it’s really important to know what’s really real and what’s not. “Once upon a time, somewhere, there lived a boy and a girl.” “Once upon a time, somewhere, there lived boys and girls.” “Once upon a time, somewhere, there lived no boy and no girl.” “Once upon a time…lived.” “Lived.” “Once upon a time.” From beginning to end, we carried on this back-and-forth process. For example, in this dialogue, we were somehow finally mutually able to comeup with this kind of compromise statement: “Once upon a time, somewhere, there lived a boy and a girl. There may have been lots of boys, and there may have been lots of girls. There may have been no boys at all, and there may have been no girls at all. There may even have been no one at all. At any rate there is little chance there were equal numbers of each. That is unless there had never been anybody at all anyway.” That was our first meeting, she and I, and of course it meant we would never see each other again. I was making my way in the direction she had come from, and she was headed in the direction I had come from, and this is a somewhat important point; you must realize this walking had to be,
