She sees the male protagonist as a pawn, manipulating him into doing her bidding while feeding his desire for wealth and power in an attempt to build the family he’s always dreamed of. Caught between the manipulative forces of the Trickster and the oppressive, often cruel tasks of the Simulator, the protagonist struggles to retain his humanity.
