You Started It First

People would say mermaids are myths. Some would say, they don’t exist, some would say they’re just one’s imagination that was put to paper for money and fame, some would rather say they do exist like the dragons, dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus and triceratops but can not be seen with the ordinary eyes. Some would say they’re rumors and fairytales because they can not be snapped by phones or mobile devices, rather. But none of these they said matched with what the world’s wealthiest eligible bachelor, Justin Chadwick knew. Though, he must have seen them couple of times in the movies, heard about them in books, folktales and all of that. But it became a reality to him since he was eighteen and ever since then, he got struck with the trauma. He’d think that it was as a result of his excess overthinking or too many hallucinations that led to his first revelation of half human and fish creature. But what happens when he met the aqua feminine creature that he usually sees in his dreams now in reality? *** Justin Chadwick is the world’s most powerful and scandalous bachelor—young, filthy rich, emotionally detached, and addicted to pleasure. But beneath the luxury and headlines, he hides a mystery that’s haunted him since he turned eighteen: a recurring vision of a woman who isn’t fully human. She's beautiful. Ethereal. In every dream, she appears just before something terrible happens in his life. Her name is Priyanka, and she’s a mermaid. For years, Justin convinced himself it was all in his head—hallucinations, fantasy, stress. Until one night, while partying at his elite private bar, he sees her sitting there on one of the barstools. Real. In mermaid form. Drenched. Silent. Watching him like she’s known him forever. And she has. Only him could see her. Only him could communicate with her. Only him could notice her among the hundreds of people balling in the bar. Priyanka is young by mermaid standards, sent from the deep with a mission: to warn Justin of the future. She’s a guide, a prophet of the waters. Her job is not to love, not to interfere. But Justin is not what she expected. He’s reckless, self-absorbed, womanizing—and yet, there’s a pull neither of them can explain. She begins appearing to him more often—sometimes in dreams, sometimes in the real world—to warn him of danger, betrayal, or changes in his future. He starts to listen, obey, and even protect her presence from the outside world. Slowly, he changes. Against every rule, Justin falls for her. And even though Priyanka tries to stay distant, his transformation moves something in her too. But she knows the truth: falling in love with a human is forbidden. To protect him and her people, she must not return his feelings. The more he loves her, the greater the risk to both their worlds.

If I Die Tomorrow, Will You Cry Today?

For Arata Itsuki, life is a movie where he's just a background character. His mission is simple: be invisible, graduate peacefully, and never get involved in the drama of the main characters. He is a master observer, and his primary subject is Aizawa Nanami—the goddess of perfection, the school idol whose life seems flawless. Their worlds were never meant to intersect, save for one anomaly: the cold hatred Aizawa Nanami always directs at him, a mystery too exhausting for Arata to solve. But his gray routine is shattered when he witnesses the tragedy that takes Nanami's life right before his eyes. That horror should have been the end of an ordinary day, but for Arata, it was just the beginning. He wakes up on the same day. Again, and again. Trapped in a prison of time, Arata soon realizes the only rule in this loop of fate: the day resets every time Aizawa Nanami meets a tragic end. Arata, the apathetic background character, is now forced to be the hero in a story that isn't his. The problem is, how do you save someone who wants nothing to do with you? Someone whose gaze could freeze your blood? With each repetition, Arata begins to see the cracks behind Nanami's perfect mask. He soon understands that the accident was no coincidence, but the climax of an unseen suffering hidden behind the goddess's smile. To break the cycle, Arata must become not only her protector, but also a detective, unraveling a past trauma that is the root of Nanami's hatred for him. Faced with a repeating destiny, Arata must find the answer to an impossible question: IF I DIE TOMORROW, WILL YOU CRY TODAY?

What's happening? Why is it happening? How is it happening?

It's a draft of my web novel. I'm afraid I'll become inconsistent if I saved only on my pc. So, I'm uploading it here for accountability. So, Bear with the rough format for the next 100 chapters. I'll refine it after reaching 100 chapters while uploading it once a week. The goals are:- • Maintaining Consistency Over Perfectionism. • Learning about this field (as it's my first time writing my own web novel.) • Enjoying the thrill of creating a draft without worrying about any sort of refinement. Cautions:- • It can be overwhelming with the fast pacing. • It's supposed to be a chaos - comedy - meta - realistic type of genre. (It's one of its kind, I know. That's the goal.) • Typos. I'll do my bare minimum to correct typos. But, I don't think I'll be focusing that much of editing right now... • A future where I may just stop without any warning (I'd hate to add this one, but who knows if I'd still be alive the next day...) Theme:- It's supposed to be a writer becoming too self aware that his characters are out of his control, from the start. The story is supposed to unfold right before the eyes as now the writer do not have any way of knowing what's happening and why and how it's happening? Warnings (again):- • I'd hate to say it again, but the pacing is fast at start... I'll try to control it as I learn how to... • The typos are too obvious. I'll refine it as much as I can, but I feel like I'm losing my voice and personality in the words, if I correct it too much... Request:- Kindly Review and Comment. I might require your genuine feedback. ---- That's all. Enjoy The Ride!
