The Queen of Rot, one of the Four Witches of the Apocalypse and the embodiment of Famine—the most devastating calamity ever to befall humanity—was nearly slain by the combined forces of the continent. Severely weakened after losing six of her hearts, she creates a puppet and imbues it with a soul. That soul belongs to Damian, a human from Earth.
