DC:The Pale Son
Fate has a twisted sense of humor.
Jared was an ordinary soul from Earth, plucked from death’s embrace and offered two wishes by a capricious, reality-warping being. He chose power and beauty—wishing for the godlike mutant abilities of Matthew Malloy and to be irresistibly handsome.
But the cosmic entity was not without its own rules. As punishment for choosing power so carelessly, Jared was reincarnated into the DC Universe without any of his former knowledge. No comics, no lore, no understanding of the gods, monsters, and madness he was now surrounded by.
To him, he was just a remarkably attractive man trying to live a normal life.
But destiny does not sleep.
His beauty caught the attention of a vampire—ancient, alluring, and predatory. Obsessed with possessing him for eternity, she seduced him, drained him, and turned him.
That should have been the end.
But trauma, death, and resurrection did something else—it awakened his latent meta-gene.
Something inside Jared snapped open. Reality trembled. A being with the destructive potential of a demiurgic archangel, now fused with vampiric hunger and immortality, was born into the universe.
He is no longer just Jared. He is a vampire god in the making—unaware of his limits, driven by instinct, and with powers that could unmake creation itself.
And he still doesn't know what he is.
But the world will.
