Blood tells no lies, flowing only when life is claimed, but even its crimson clarity is no guide to the truth. Ren dies and reincarnates in a novel he read in his past life. That’s what he thought, at least. There’s a catch though. He is reborn as a villain. The ridiculous thing is that he wasn’t reborn as a major villain, nor as a minor villain, but rather as a lackey of a third-rate villain that appears only once in the story. After his awakening, he joins the elite royal academy. It becomes clearer and clearer that the fantasy world was not as in the novel. He later finds out that this world is completely different from the novel. He never trusted it anyway. His fate seemed to be playing with him. Nothing went according to plan. It felt like he was dancing in the palm of someone’s hand. He felt that he was merely a pawn in a higher entity’s game. It frustrates him. During one of his adventures, he comes to learn of a minor fact. The universe itself is after him! And that crazy being wants him to get rid of it. That was the last straw. He had finally snapped. He had had enough of being their pawn. He would no longer be the puppet. He would be the puppeteer instead. ……… DON’T expect a heroic or villainous mc.
