Mythology and Legends were seen as nothing more than imagination by most of the people of Earth after the Age of Enlightenment, an attempt of the past humans to explain phenomenon they could not understand and though faiths existed, most have started to believe them to be nothing more than imagination. That however changed in 2023 when God and higher beings suddenly started to choose people from amongst the populace and gave them power to use, essentially turning them into superhumans and the fully cemented the fact that the Supernatural do indeed exist. The Earth has changed greatly with these chosen people becoming the most important people in the world due to their status and strength as some of them are even leaders of their own nations.
