The Strongest Curse Master

Born into a lower middle class family, Ace Lander grew up being told there was a simple formula for success: get an education, graduate, and work hard to build a prosperous future. But that formula failed him during the final stretch of his senior year when a local gang targeted him, putting everything he had and was building towards at risk. Trapped and desperate, Ace felt his life spiraling out of control—until Ria Hart, a fellow classmate, discovering Ace's innate aptitude to become a Curse Master, a being capable of wielding curse energy and abilities but haunted by Curselings, took pity and introduced him to the secret world hidden beneath the mundane surface of their world, the World of Curses. Awakening as a Curse Master, Ace discovers he possesses an extraordinary innate curse tool: the Cursed Toybox. This tool comes with a unique class, Toymancer, granting Ace powers unlike any curse master the world has seen before. The Cursed Toybox allows him to animate and actualize toys, transforming them into powerful, living beings bound to his will. From overpowered heroes to legendary gods, any toy that falls into Ace's Cursed Toybox springs to life with powers beyond one's imagination but bound to him in eternal servitude. Armed with his Toy Summons, Ace must navigate the perilous world of curses, protect his loved ones, and reclaim control of his destiny before the gang—and the darkness of the hidden world—consume him entirely. Hearts of Silver

In her second year at Shibuya High School, Shirogane Rei has perfected the art of being invisible. With her distinctive silver hair and blue eyes, you'd think she'd stand out - but she's managed to fade into the background of school life quite successfully. That is, until she starts collecting a rather unusual group of outcasts. It begins when she helps Segawa Tatsuya, a chubby stern-looking guy who believes he's the reincarnation of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, join the Photography Club. Then there's the club's president Suzuki Akane, who maintains impossibly high standards while hiding her own insecurities. Add in Matsuda Kaito, the shy photographer secretly in love with Akane, and Nakamura Yuki, the infamous "Ice Queen" who Rei met at a manga cafe and who hides a secret passion for shoujo manga. As Rei navigates friendship, first love, and finding her place, she discovers that sometimes the best shots are the ones you don't plan for. Between helping Segawa turn every photo shoot into a naval battle reenactment, supporting Matsuda's awkward attempts at romance, keeping Yuki's otaku side secret, and dealing with her own growing feelings, Rei learns that maybe being visible isn't so bad after all. When tiny Dutch transfer student Emma van der Meer and Rei's former best friend Ishikawa Mio join their strange little family, things get even more complicated. With the school festival approaching and relationships becoming tangled, Rei finds herself at the center of a story about friendship, love, and finding the courage to step out from behind the viewfinder.

Curiosity of God

NOTE: Chapters are LONG, ~10X normal. When college physics student Mizuki Hakuto faces the obligatory bus-kun death of all isekai protagonists, he's brought face-to-face with a divine entity. When not mocking Mizuki, the so-called godling explains the nature of the universe – gods, godlings, mythical beasts, and more. Most importantly, magic is real. Just...not on Earth. Inspired by Earth's manga and having a penchant for drama, the godling offers him the opportunity to experience these things on a different world. The world is ruled by a strange god that treats it like a divine petri dish, and it's filled with interesting creatures the god collected from all across the universe. The god of this strange planet seems welcoming and helpful at first, but Mizuki quickly realizes that all is not as it seems in the magical world of Azura. Wielding science and newfound sorcery, Mizuki investigates the fundamental laws of magic, the nature of the divine, and more, but his progress is watched in secret by powerful forces. As he gains knowledge and power, and his darker nature is revealed, will the gods sit idly by? FAQ: Q – What's the overall tone of this story? A – It seems pretty lighthearted at first, but the trajectory of the story makes it progressively darker. I'd say the story takes itself fairly serious at times, but the characters' personalities lend to plenty of comedic dialogue. Especially in the lull between major events. Q – Isekai tropes? A – Yes. Some are leaned into, some are mocked, but most make an appearance in some form. Q – Is the MC's prior life relevant? A – Yes! The MC relies heavily on knowledge specific to Earth, and especially his science background. The MC trying to reconcile his scientific understanding from Earth with this newfound variable of magic is a major theme of the story. Q – How is the MC isekai'd? Is he reincarnated? A – In the most tropey way possible, of course. He gets hit by a bus. After dying, he's resurrected in his original body and sent to another world as an adult. Q – Is there slavery in this isekai? A – Yes, and it's not a pretty industry. However, the MC detests the slavery on Azura. The story won't shy away from the effect it has on the lives of those the MC meets. This will not be one of those stories where the MC virtue signals about how bad slavery is, but inexplicably keeps slaves of their own and it's painted as 'good' because the slaves are 'treated well'. Q – Is the MC overpowered? A – Absolutely, but this will vary as the story progresses and the MC's frame of reference and knowledge changes. It's meant as a kind of transient 'incubation' phase for the MC, where we see how having seemingly absolute power affects his personality and decisions. It helps reveal his true, unrestricted self. Q – Is this another self-insert isekai story? A – I certainly think that's true of the MC early on in the series – it takes a while to learn much about his personal life on Earth or personality. We're watching an MC who seems to be a reactionary person on Earth, just going through the motions, necessarily develop more of a sense of self in a world where his actions are more consequential. Q – You tagged this as 'romance'...is there a harem? A – Yup. The MC eventually has two romantic partners, though one is a bit more dominant. So, think more Tsukimichi, less late-game Arifureta.

Whispers of Elandrial:Echoes of the triad’s purchase

Deep in the heart of Elandrial, away from the bustling cities and grand kingdoms, within the intricate maze of the Underrealm, Kael lived in shadows. A Cavedweller by birth, his heritage was one of mystery, often whispered about in legends but seldom encountered. Kael wasn't ordinary, even by Cavedweller standards. His veins pulsed with the ancient art of sword magic, a legacy passed down through secretive lineages. When he danced with his blade, it shimmered with arcane energies, cutting not just through flesh but through the very fabric of magic itself. This talent, however potent, was a double-edged sword. It made him a beacon for those hungry for power, so he hid it, fearing its allure. His days consisted of exploring the depths, unearthing relics of a bygone era, and practicing his swordplay in concealed caverns. Solitude was his chosen companion until fate intervened. One evening, while navigating a previously unexplored tunnel, Kael stumbled upon a scene that would shatter his isolated existence. There, in a hidden cavern illuminated by bioluminescent fungi, representatives of the Obsidian Empire were engaged in a covert exchange with enigmatic figures - the Voidwalkers from the abyss. The traded object was a pulsating dark crystal, the "Abyssal Heart", radiating an eerie energy that even Kael, from his concealed vantage point, could feel. Intrigued yet cautious, Kael decided to intervene. Drawing upon his sword magic, he attempted to disrupt the exchange. But the Voidwalkers, beings of ancient magic, sensed his presence. A battle ensued, where shadows clashed with the gleam of the blade. But the numbers were against Kael, and he was forced to retreat, but not before witnessing the Obsidian Empire successfully obtaining the Abyssal Heart. Understanding the gravity of what had transpired, Kael knew he couldn't remain a silent observer. The Abyssal Heart's power in the hands of the Obsidian Empire would bring forth a darkness that Elandrial had never seen. His first attempt to warn the higher realms led him to the Stone Trolls of Thunder Reach. Historically reclusive, they were known for their mastery over earth magics. But as Kael approached their majestic mountain citadel, he witnessed its annihilation. The Obsidian Empire, powered by the abyss, had struck their first blow, leaving Thunder Reach in ruins. Devastated yet determined, Kael pushed forward. He sought the Moon Dancers of Lorianel, hoping their affinity for lunar magic could counteract the Abyssal Heart's malevolence. It was here he met Luna, a skilled Moon Dancer. Sensing the truth in Kael's words, Luna pledged her support. Together, they journeyed to Seraphina, seeking the Sun Whisperers' aid. This is where Solan, a Sun Whisperer with a fiery spirit, joined their ranks. The trio, each representing a unique aspect of Elandrial's magic, became the realm's unlikely defenders. As they ventured across the vast landscapes, from the shimmering shores of Maelstrome’s Rift to the floating islands of Celestial Shadows, they rallied allies. The Maelstrome Dominion, seeing the threat posed by the abyss, provided naval support. The ethereal beings of the Celestial Shadows lent their knowledge of ancient prophecies, hinting at the Abyssal Heart's origin and possible countermeasures. Their journey took them through the Glimmering Groves and the Skaldorian Foothills, battling Obsidian scouts and abyssal creatures. In these skirmishes, Aria, a rogue Mage from the Virelia Republic with unparalleled knowledge of arcane arts, saved them. Recognizing a shared purpose, she joined their quest. But time was against them. The Obsidian Empire's shadow spread, consuming realms and bending them to their dark will. The abyss, sensing Elandrial's weakening defenses, grew bolder, with its creatures becoming more frequent and aggressive.

Army Definition

An army (from Latin arma "arms, weapons" via Old French armée, "armed" [feminine]), ground force or land force is a fighting force that fights primarily on land. In the broadest sense, it is the land-based military branch, service branch or armed service of a nation or state. It may also include aviation assets by possessing an army aviation component. Within a national military force, the word army may also mean a field army. Afghan Army soldiers on parade, 1950s In some countries, such as France and China, the term "army", especially in its plural form "armies", has the broader meaning of armed forces as a whole, while retaining the colloquial sense of land forces. To differentiate the colloquial army from the formal concept of military force, the term is qualified, for example in France the land force is called Armée de terre, meaning Land Army, and the air and space force is called Armée de l'Air et de l’Espace, meaning Air and Space Army. The naval force, although not using the term "army", is also included in the broad sense of the term "armies" — thus the French Navy is an integral component of the collective French Armies (French Armed Forces) under the Ministry of the Armies. A similar pattern is seen in China, with the People's Liberation Army (PLA) being the overall military, the land force being the PLA Ground Force, and so forth for the PLA Air Force, the PLA Navy, and other branches. The Sikh Regiment marching contingent of the Indian Army on parade, 2015 By convention, irregular military is understood in contrast to regular armies which grew slowly from personal bodyguards or elite militia. Regular in this case refers to standardized doctrines, uniforms, organizations, etc. Regular military can also refer to full-time status (standing army), versus reserve or part-time personnel. Other distinctions may separate statutory forces (established under laws such as the National Defence Act), from de facto "non-statutory" forces such as some guerrilla and revolutionary armies. Armies may also be expeditionary (designed for overseas or international deployment) or fencible (designed for – or restricted to – homeland defence).
