Crown Prince Ian Stromridge has just returned from battle, hailed as a hero, greeted with people's adoration and blessings but he brings home a beautiful woman, though he's already married leaving everybody completed nonplussed. His wife, Princess Angelica Stromridge wed him for convenience before he left for war. Their marriage lacked affection and was rife with misunderstandings from the start. From name-calling to accidental letters leading to further misconception. During his absence, Angelica played the dutiful wife, sacrificing to maintain the household, being the lovely princess and wonderful daughter in law, only to face his return with another woman whom the entire kingdom agreed was more beautiful than she was! Will she divorce or fight for his love, a love that clearly never existed in the first place? Will she clear the misunderstandings and surmount the obstacles or will it be a post-marriage love story or an ex-wife tale full of regret? Excerpt |||| "My princess..." called a maid, knocking on the door her hand trembling. "Come in." replied Angelica as the door opened hearing footsteps approaching. "What are you doing here? I gave stern orders for no one to disturb me for the entirety of the day." her austere voice rang out. "I... I know my princess... please forgive me... I... I did not mean to disturb you but... this is something very important." "Let's have it then." replied Angelica closing the book she had been reading as she laid eyes on the maid. The maid gulped, the fear evident in her eyes, she did not know how Angelica would react to the severely bad news she had brought with her, however, one thing was sure, Angelica would not react lightly at all. "My... m...y prince...ss the..." said the maid, causing Angelica to sigh in annoyance, rolling her eyes, she had better things to do than sit here listening to the maid's mumbling. "Yes, say it." said Angelica giving the maid a hand. "My princess, the crowned prince has returned." said the maid. "Oh... well that's nice... I guess I will see him later, or better yet tomorrow. There is no rush, I am sure he is swarmed by crowds at the moment." replied Angelica lazily, she really had no intention of moving from this spot. "But my princess... ther— " "Oh, you're right, it would be unacceptable if I did not come out to greet him, rumours would certainly ensue and the kingdom would be in serious hysteria as they always are." replied Angelica annoyed. "Yes, you are right, I should go and welcome him back home." said Angelica as she stood up and yawned. "My princess... that is not all, there is something else..." said the maid. "And what is that?" asked Angelica as the maid's eyes darted around the room, she did not know what to do, or how best to put this. "My princess... the... the crowned prince has truly returned but..." said the maid with a prolonged pause. "But what?" asked Angelica, her senses tingling, she had a inking that there was something wrong from the maid's strange behaviour. "But his highness..." paused the maid. "Out with it now!" said Angelica sternly. "His highness has returned with a strange woman and the rumours claim that she is his new wife!" spat out the maid as Angelica suddenly felt lightheaded and she fell back down on the chair. "My princess!" cried the maid as she rushed to her. "This is some sort of farce." said Angelica as the maid proceeded quickly to fan her with a cloth. "No my princess... it is true." replied the maid. "This is impossible. Ian must be mad, I am going to see this display of stupidity for myself!" said Angelica hotly, quickly rising up and storming out of the room as the poor maid followed behind her. ||||

Intergalactic conquest with an AI

Rex was just another slave in the corporate machine, a faceless office worker under the shadow of one of the galaxy's powerful megacorps. His life was predictable and dull, an endless cycle of meaningless reports and fluorescent-lit monotony. That was, until that day.... When a new world was discovered on the outskirts of the galaxy, Rex, like countless other low-ranking employees, found himself dragged into a contract clause he’d barely skimmed years ago. The megacorp ordered him and his coworkers to pack their lives into a transport pod and leave for the unexplored planet. Their mission? Establish a colony. Mine resources. Make the company richer. There was no choice, refusing meant ruin. At first, everything seemed manageable. The days were grueling, the nights cold, but progress was steady. The colony was coming to life. Until the excavation team struck something. No one knew what it was at first, a buried hive, a forgotten ecosystem, or something ancient and dangerous. Whatever it was, it unleashed hell. Swarms of enormous, chittering creatures erupted from the ground, their jagged bodies blotting out the sky. The colony fell into chaos. Screams echoed through the air as the bugs tore through everything in their path, walls, machines, and people. Rex barely survived. Bloodied, broken, and pinned beneath the rubble, he should have died there. But in the pitch-black silence of his fading consciousness, a voice spoke to him. Cold. Mechanical. Otherworldly. "Do you wish to live?" When Rex woke, he was no longer the man he’d been. His body was no longer human flesh and bone but something far more alien. His skin shimmered with living metal, his mind infused with the power of Cleo, a mysterious AI from a long-extinct, robotic race known as the Kaelzars. Cleo’s presence pulsed through his thoughts, guiding him and transforming him. He wasn’t just alive. He was reborn. But survival came at a price. Rex was no longer a pawn of the megacorp; he was something more dangerous, something they couldn’t control. As Cleo’s intentions began to reveal themselves, Rex found himself standing on the precipice of war, not just with the bugs but with forces far greater than he could have imagined. This was the beginning of a journey through blood-soaked battlefields and treacherous alliances. Along the way, Rex would encounter allies, brilliant, flawed, and unpredictable, and enemies whose ambitions were as sharp as their blades. These weren’t disposable foes, easily crushed by an overpowered hero. They were cunning, relentless, and human in the most terrifying ways. But then again, in war, who can truly be called a villain? The Rise Of Sleeping Tyrant

Dimension Collapse. The world expanded tenfold, swallowing everything that once existed. The sky shattered like glass, and a massive rift stretched endlessly across it. From the darkness, nightmares emerged—monstrous beasts, ancient horrors, and creatures beyond human understanding. Vampires with glowing crimson eyes stalked the night. Demons, wrapped in hellfire, descended in endless hordes. Beastmen roared beneath the blood-red moon, while goblins, wild and savage, swarmed the streets, feasting on the fallen. Cities crumbled. Lands twisted into strange, terrifying shapes. Reality itself became a battlefield of chaos. Then, as if was nothing, a glowing screen flickered into existence before every survivor. [Welcome to the New Era.] [You have been granted 100 Coins.] [Your Unique Skill has been awakened.] [To survive, obtain more coins.] [Methods: Slay the creatures. Kill the others.] Terror settled in. Everyone had received a skill—some wielded power over elements, others bent time or defied death itself. Yet, some… awakened curses, abilities so absurd or sinister that they sealed their fate from the start. The rules were brutal: Kill. Adapt. Evolve. Chaos erupted instantly. Neighbors turned into executioners. Families slaughtered one another. Streets ran red with blood as the weak perished, and the strong carved their place in this new world. Yet, amidst this apocalyptic bloodbath, one man had done something truly absurd. --- A man awoke, stretching lazily. The world had changed, yet he… had simply been sleeping. A notification greeted him. [You have met the hidden condition of your skill: High Upgradation.] [You have unlocked S-Grade Skill: Sleep.] He stared at the screen, dumbfounded. What kind of sick joke was this?! Monsters roamed the streets, people were killing for survival, and his power was to take naps?

Legion of the Eclipse

In a galaxy where gods and monsters wage eternal war, one man becomes the architect of humanity’s last stand. When Kael Veyne, a disillusioned mechanic from 21st-century Earth, is torn from his world and thrust onto the corpse-planet Vyrion-9, he inherits a war he doesn’t understand. Armed with the Legion Architect System—a mysterious technology that grants him the power to summon soldiers, construct fortresses, and unlock arcane weapons—Kael must rebuild the planet’s shattered defenses from ashes. But Vyrion-9 is no empty graveyard. The planet is hunted by the Vorath Swarm, a ravenous hive-mind of crystalline xenos, and haunted by the Screaming Choir, psychic cultists warped by an alien artifact called the Warp Shard. As Kael’s fledgling legion grows, so does the attention of deadlier foes: Stalkers in Iron (ancient mechanical horrors) and the Eldritch Confluence (cosmic entities feeding on the Vorath’s carnage). To survive, Kael must evolve from a scavenger into a warlord. But the System demands a price: the more he upgrades his Imperial Regulars, Ascendant Legion, and Aetheric Conclave, the more his humanity erodes. His soldiers are expendable—husks, superhuman zealots, and unstable psykers—but Kael’s conscience isn’t. When he discovers the Vorath are not invaders but creations of a long-dead empire, he must choose: reignite the galaxy’s deadliest war machine or let Vyrion-9 become a tomb for his soul. "Legion of the Eclipse" is a relentless blend of grimdark warfare, base-building progression, and cosmic horror, where every victory inches Kael closer to becoming the monster he fights.

Blood and Sparks: The Edge of Power

Kai’s life was small—coffee-stained mornings, cracked recipes, and a system in his head that tweaked toasters and dough like it was nothing. Then the sky shattered. Aliens—Skraiths, jagged and brutal—invaded, tearing his city apart with green-glowing weapons and relentless claws. Superhumans rose to fight back, fire and lightning blazing through the chaos, but Kai’s world crumbled with them. Hiding in his apartment, Kai stumbles on blood—human and alien, smeared on his wall after a superhuman battle. His system, once just a tinker’s tool, awakens, offering him a choice: mimic their powers, temporary and wild, through the blood itself. Desperate, he takes it—stealing pyrokinesis, then electrokinesis, then kinetic energy, each power burning through him, fading fast. But it’s not enough. Armed with a humming Skraith weapon and a body tougher from alien blood, Kai joins a ragtag crew of enhanced fighters—Liv, Rylan, Jace, and Tucker—scraping to survive in a warzone where every shadow hides death. As Skraiths swarm and the city burns, Kai’s system pushes him deeper, analyzing, integrating, crafting minor enhancements—durability, strength, sparks of power that could make him a target or a savior. Government factions, rogue scientists, and the aliens themselves start sniffing around, drawn to his strange tech and blood-stolen abilities. By the time Kai crafts his first super-powered enhancement—an artificial strength boost—he’s no longer just a tinkerer. He’s on the edge of something bigger, something dangerous, where blood and sparks could forge a hero—or break him entirely. ASHES OF THE SUNDERED STAR

In the fractured kingdoms of Eldyra, where deserts bleed molten ore and fungal forests whisper forgotten names, three outcasts are bound by a lie older than the stars. Kael, a guilt-ridden blacksmith, wields a hammer that burns with the soul of a traitorous knight. Lira, an outcast herbalist, dreams of a goddess’s death—and wakes with bloody hands. Tyrus, a thief with no past, carries daggers that devour his memories to feed a love he can’t recall. When Voidspawn—shapeshifting demons born from a murdered goddess’s rage—swarm their homes, the trio is branded as heretics and forced to flee. Their only hope lies in the Celestial Anchors, ancient relics said to halt the apocalyptic Dusk Eclipse. But as they uncover the truth, they realize the anchors are not tools of salvation… but locks. A thousand years ago, the goddess Nyrisia sacrificed herself to trap a cosmic parasite that feeds on mortal suffering. The “curse” she left behind was a shield, not a punishment. Now, her reincarnation (Lira) is unraveling, Tyrus’s lost love is the parasite’s avatar, and Kael’s hammer demands he kill the only friend he’s ever had. As kingdoms burn and allies betray them, the three must choose: reignite Nyrisia’s war and doom the world to eternal hunger, or shatter the anchors and unleash the parasite’s full wrath. But the greatest threat lies within—Lira’s goddess is waking, Tyrus’s dagger is a key, and Kael’s hammer remembers how to kill a god.
