Visfall
[2025 WSA Entry]
Deep in the heart of Vyrandia, where bloodlines dictate worth and magic defines fate, a child is born.
But he is born with nothing.
No Vis to shape the world. No gifts to mark him as blessed. A hollow vessel, empty and powerless. A disgrace to his father’s bloodline.
And so, he and his mother are cast out—left to the mercy of the cold.
But as his life slips away, something stirs in the silence.
Something buried. Something forgotten.
When he awakens, he is no longer just an exiled child. He is something unnatural.
Taken in by the Wardens, the last remnants of an ancient order sworn to maintain balance between the mortal and spirit worlds, Ravenn is thrust into a reality far beyond what he ever imagined. The world is fracturing.
Monsters of old are rising. Forgotten truths surface. And within him, a power unlike any other begins to awaken.
As the Wardens send him on missions—to cursed villages, ancient libraries, and forgotten civilizations, each filled with whispers of the past, and the horrors coming—Ravenn begins to uncover the fractures in the world’s foundation.
The echoes of something ancient call to him, pulling him toward a fate entwined with forces long thought extinguished.
But he is not the only one searching, not the only one burdened with purpose.
There are others—hunters and allies alike who have waited for his return, gods who fear what he might become, and enemies who will do anything to bury the past he is destined to unearth.
Because to them, some echoes are best left buried.
But for him, every echo will rise.
