Naruto: My Ninjutsu is Plain and Unremarkable
Across the ninja world, over 50 large-scale wars have erupted throughout history. The rights and wrongs of these conflicts are difficult to judge, but historians all agree on one thing—on these ancient battlefields, the rise and fall of countless ninja clans were decided. Thus, the saying has always held true: The victor becomes king, the defeated a mere bandit.
Back then, the First Hokage led the Senju clan, dividing his forces into three to rendezvous with the Fire Nation’s army. They marched north, waging war against Iwagakure, Sunagakure, and Kumogakure, securing a sweeping victory! The day after reclaiming the entirety of the Fire Nation’s lands, the other nations, seeing the tides had turned, surrendered one after another.
Thirty years ago, I set out from Konoha on my journey, stepping into the Second Great Ninja War. With my plain and unremarkable ninjutsu, I defeated every enemy I encountered. Wherever I went, the people welcomed me with open arms. It was as if I had seized the very will of the heavens, and the vibrant energy of that era, where all things thrived and flourished, remains vivid in my mind.
I don’t understand—why is everyone so fixated on Uchiha Madara being trapped in the Valley of the End? As if this ancient battlefield has already sealed our fate, foretelling disaster.
Has it really come to this? That just thirty short years later, this place would become my final resting ground?
No matter how you look at it, our forces number 80,000 against their 100,000. We have the advantage!
