When Stella started university, Ezra had to travel to another town to attend university, so they were far apart. Nonetheless, they promised to stay in touch and not allow the distance to hinder their love. Stella was studying in Oklahoma, and Ezra was in New York. They were very far away, but they never fought or decided to separate ways; instead, they continued to date online, and neither of them had an issue with it. Or so they thought. Stella was excited to move to New York for work after completing her four years of college, but instead of being happy for her, Ezra became irate that she was visiting the city he was in.
