Some time ago the earth was attacked by abnormalities, mankind defended itself and rebuilt what were once cities. This is the heartbreaking story of my experience with the girl I like despite giving everything I had, pouring my heart into every moment, it was never enough. Now, hear me out and hear me well: my name is Barogey. I was born into a humble merchant family, and yes, I’m the guy you read about at the start—the one dying. A dimly lit, gaudy bar, a woman throws a seductive glance at you. When you wake up again in a hotel, you find two bite marks on your neck, your blood drained. In the desolate wilderness, you're startled awake by the howl of wolves, unaware that tonight you've become the prey for a clan's coming-of-age ritual. In a cluttered bachelor apartment, you hear a knock on the door. You step forward, and through the peephole, a pair of hungry, crimson eyes stare back at its dinner. Alone, whispers fill your ears—the dead linger in the spirit realm. They refuse to leave you behind, resenting that you are still alive . At last, you've completed the ritual from the book. You are about to become the new Faust, but you don’t realize that the contract sold not only your wife and children, but also your soul. Anyone who glimpses beneath the curtain knows: Adonai abandoned His creations long ago...
