When the Tides Forgot to Turn

The news spread through the castle like wildfire, but the how and why were locked behind a veil of silence. No one dared speak the truth—not aloud, not even in whispers. A tragedy, they said. An accident. A sudden illness. But you could feel it, couldn’t you? The weight in the air, the unease gnawing at the edges of every conversation. It was no accident. You are sixteen—too young to rule, too wise to pretend you don’t understand the peril that now surrounds you. The throne, which was never meant for someone so young, now calls to you, heavy with the burden of responsibility and suspicion. The death of your parents has left a vacuum, a hole in the heart of the kingdom, and the vultures are circling. The council, once a place of unity, is now divided. Some swear loyalty to you, but there’s always a hint of doubt in their eyes—an unspoken question of whether you are truly capable, or just a child pretending to wear the crown. Others, however, have no such pretense. They see you as weak, and they are ready to take what’s yours. Every decision you make is weighed down by the knowledge that your enemies are watching, waiting for you to falter. The leaders who once bowed before your parents now eye you like wolves hunting for their next meal. The kingdom is fractured, but you, you must stand firm. You must navigate through the labyrinth of treachery, alliances, and deceit, and try to find the path that will hold it all together. You’ve always been observant. You’ve watched them—your parents. You’ve seen how they maneuvered through the court, how they balanced loyalty and betrayal, how they kept their cards hidden close to their chest. You thought you understood it all. But now, with the weight of a kingdom pressing down on your shoulders, you’re beginning to wonder if you ever truly understood anything.

An angel‘s road to hell

What happens if the one transcendent being that cares for mortals fell and got a second chance in a world full of magic, intrigue and possibly even friendships? Does the past determine the future or are we all able to pick our own destiny? An angel, one of the two nigh immortal species in existence, has been hunted and killed by his own kind because he wasn’t prepared to watch silently while his people followed their own desires to whatever end. When, against all odds, he opened his eyes again, he was someone else, his past and powers hidden deep within him. On an ancient world, with advanced magic but medieval technology, he was reborn as Cassandra Pendragon, the youngest daughter of one of the five royal families on Boseiju, the home of the fox tribe, the kitsune. As she grew up, who she was and who she had been, started shaping her future. Forgotten friends and unknown enemies began knocking at her door and while she struggled to find her way between the past and the present, the winds of war were already blowing across her home. I‘ll try to publish at least 2 chapters a week, probably more. The first story arc is pretty much mapped out. Should be around 150 or 160 chapters for the first volume (it’s taking much longer than I expected) and the second one is nearly finished as well. Try it, it should be one hell of a ride. One more thing: the first two chapters are more or less a prologue and if you want to, you can skip them, I wouldn’t recommend it, though. The writing style as well as the perspective shifts dramatically, afterwards. As for trigger warnings: it’s going to get gory from time to time, and the MC often has to pay a toll in blood. Additionally there are -mildly- sexualised scenes, once in a while, but nothing graphic. Lastly, somewhen webnovel changed the description box from female lead to female oriented. It’s mandatory and I can’t change it either way but I have no clue if the book is catering male or female preferences. I hope the description above makes up for whatever confusion it might cause.

Legacy of the Lost Throne

Orphaned Alex, a young man with a past shrouded in complete mystery – not even a whisper of family memory – stumbles upon truth as shocking as it is burdensome: he's the last scion of Eldoria, heir to a throne steeped in a truly ghastly curse. Imagine, if you will, the weight of that revelation – a kingdom in ruins echoing in his mind's eye, a legacy of darkness clinging to him like a second skin. He’s not just any prince; he’s the last hope, a flickering candle in a storm. Lord Marcellus, a viper in human clothing, currently holds the reins of power in Eldoria. Ruthless and ambitious, he'll stop at nothing to keep Alex from claiming his birthright, pursuing him with the relentless fervor of a bloodhound on a scent. Alex's escape becomes a desperate flight across treacherous landscapes, a perilous odyssey alongside a motley crew of companions, each with their skeletons rattling in their closets – their own carefully guarded secrets. Guiding him, a spectral whisper in the wind, is the spirit of his mother, Queen Elara. She's a constant, ethereal presence, offering cryptic guidance through the maelstrom. And then there's Raven, an enigmatic thief whose skills prove invaluable, a shadowy figure who adds an intriguing layer of complexity to the already tangled narrative. Their unlikely alliance is forged in the crucible of shared danger, a testament to the strange bonds that can bloom in the face of adversity. But the path to reclaiming his throne isn't merely a physical journey; it's a descent into a family history as dark and twisted as any gothic novel. To break the curse that has blighted his lineage for generations, Alex must confront the vengeful specter of a sorcerer betrayed, a malevolent entity whose rage echoes through the ages. Unraveling the truth about his ancestors, peeling back layer after layer of deceit and treachery, will be a harrowing experience, testing his very soul. The journey is fraught with peril; loyalty is tested, betrayals sting like scorpion bites, and sacrifices must be made. Will Alex succumb to the throne's insidious power, becoming another pawn in the cycle of vengeance? Or can he transcend the darkness, forge his path, and finally break free from the suffocating grip of his family's cursed legacy? "Legacy of the Lost Throne" isn't just a fantasy adventure; it’s a poignant exploration of identity, redemption, and the enduring struggle to escape the long shadow of the past. It's a story that will stay with you long after you turn the final page, a tale as captivating as it is unsettling.
