The story follows the journey of Jesse, a fourteen-year-old junior high school student growing up in poverty in the slums of Lagos, Nigeria. Everything changes when his talent for football is discovered by a scout, pulling him into the professional world of football he'd dreamt of since the first time he kicked a ball. The story follows his journey as he learns to balance his personal life and struggles with his budding footballing career.
