Void Tree Chronicles

Wes Carter is dying. A black sword pulses with corruption in his chest, his strength fading as blood seeps into the battlefield. He has no regrets—his people escaped, the war was fought, and he killed the man with void-black eyes. But it wasn’t enough. It never was. As darkness claims him, two figures appear—enigmatic, powerful, and knowing. And with cruel certainty, they reveal a truth that shatters everything Wes believed: His future was stolen. Wes remembered that day. The day, as a child, he met the man with void-black eyes. The man who stood before him, bathed in the blood of those Wes cherished. The man who could have killed him but didn’t. Instead, he burned Wes’s soul, severing something deep within him. That was the day everything changed. That was the day he became a Null. He should have been able to claim a Void Crystal, to rise like the others. Instead, he was cut off from that power, forced to forge his own way through Essence alone. And despite that, despite everything, he became peerless, a warrior standing at the edge of the Grand Stage—the universe beyond Earth’s wars. And then, all these years later, that same man returned. Not alone. This time, he led an army—not just soldiers, but Fallen, beings marked by corruption, their eyes the same void-black as his own. They descended upon Wes with overwhelming force, and though he fought, though he killed his greatest enemy, it still wasn’t enough. More questions than answers. Why had his future been stolen? Why had that man, all those years ago, chosen to cripple him instead of killing him? Now, as Wes breathes his last, the two figures offer him something impossible: A second chance. They will sever the future—a phrase Wes doesn’t yet understand—but before he can question it, they shove a black seed, dark as night, into his chest. And then—rebirth. No longer fighting for survival in a dying world, he enters a new era—one where humanity has rebuilt, where Void Crystals, Essence, and Mana-Tech shape civilization, and where the truth of the universe is within reach. Yet, the past is not erased. The man with void-black eyes may be dead, but the forces behind him still move. The answers he seeks are still out there. And this time, he will find them. Monsters. Rival races. Forgotten legends. The enemies lurking beyond the void. This time, Wes Carter will not be denied. His rise is inevitable. (NOTE READ AUXILLARY CHAPTER)

He Who Cuts Fate

In a reality where fate governs all, one being was never meant to wake. Severence was a name long lost to time, a figure buried so deep in history that even the gods dared not speak of him. Yet, despite their efforts, he has awakened. Not by fate. Not by design. But by something else. He remembers everything. The battles he fought. The gods he defied. The moment he took up The Unmaking, a weapon that does not kill but erases. The war that should have ended with his existence vanishing forever. And yet, here he stands once more. Whole. Alive. Awake. But he does not know why. Cast adrift in a multiverse of endless worlds—where heroes wage war, where gods weave their schemes, where titans clash and destinies are written—Severence searches for an answer. Every world recoils at his presence. Every being, mortal or divine, whispers his name in terror. Every force in existence seems desperate to deny him the truth. Something woke him. Something brought him back. But why? From the burning battlefields of the Holy Grail War to the war-torn realms of gods and monsters, from futuristic dystopias to cosmic battlegrounds—Severence walks the path beyond fate, seeking the answer hidden even from him. And with each world, the whispers grow louder. "He has awakened." "The blade that unmakes walks once more." "Even the gods cannot escape its cut." Severence simply tightens his grip on The Unmaking. Let the gods tremble. Let the universes break. He will carve his own path—until he finds the truth. Once Human, Now a Parasite β

Arthur Bilgart was a successful and vastly wealthy businessman on Earth. However, he was kidnapped and tortured by his wife, Claudia, who was after everything he owned. He was tortured and isolated from the world for no less than a year before miserably dying. But death wasn't the end for he was reincarnated into a parasite in a foreign world. Volume 1: The Blood Purge (Chp 1 to 29) Volume 2 : The Mysterious Bottle (Chp 30 to 43) Volume 3 : The Bloated Murderer (Chp 44 to 65) Volume 4: Ruination (Pt1): Single-Minded Pursuit (Chp 66 to 86) Volume 4 : Ruination (Pt2): Feast of Lies and Sea of Spies (Chp8 to 128) Volume 5 : The Shadow Keep Penitentiary(Pt1): 'Why was the goose sad?'(Chp129 to ?) If you're interested in the premise, I will give some exposition on what to expect. First and foremost, the story, especially at the beginning, can have a slow pace to flesh out the world and characters. The plot will follow the parasite's second life in a new world in which Magic exists. Rather than focusing too much on non-stop and nonsensical fights, there will be a lot of focus on Arthur's psychological issues, his motives and beliefs. His views on the new world and opinions on moral relativism, the ruling aristocracy, the study of historical records and so on... Instead of a direct plot from beginning to end (Such as the generalized 'Defeat the Demon King), this story is more about self-discovery and the unravelling of ancient mysteries and forgotten history. It is about the character development of not only Arthur but other characters and how their actions affect the world. Arthur isn't inherently noble or unconditionally just, but he also isn't purely driven by lunacy or evil-oriented intentions. The MC is neither OP nor pitifully weak. This is not about someone reincarnated into a world just to become an undefeated force that simply kills everyone. There will be chapters dedicated to Lore or the travails of supporting characters. There are relatively detailed maps that I've created myself, which can be found here: The maps contain SPOILERS about regions and locations. https://ibb.co/xDPk4zz https://ibb.co/smKDgds There will be a System, one which isn't overly-complex nor too simplistic. In the beginning, at least, it is more of a visual and numerical representation of the MC's growth as he learns more about his Race and what it is capable of. Without delving into any details, the following are what you will find in this story: Exploring the world; Meeting new people, discovering fascinating cultures, deepening one's understanding of existence's history, delving into Politics. At some points, the story will be dark and quite disturbing. Chapters are between 1500 and 3000 words. One last thing: I'm not a native English-speaker, therefore, my grammar isn't flawless. I try my best to make everything coherent and enjoyable, but I might make a mistake or two along the way. If you notice anything, be sure to let me know and I will fix it. Apologies in advance and I hope you like the story.

Plot Armor and Paper Cuts

Haruto Sato is a lonely Tokyo writer who died surrounded by 350 half-finished books (yikes). A sassy goddess who looks like his old characters gives him a harsh deal: *Finish all your abandoned stories, or get erased forever—even that cringe fanfic you hid in 1998.* Reborn as random side characters in his own messy worlds, Haruto’s stuck with a buggy “game system” that roasts him nonstop. Skills include *surviving deadly hits 10% of the time* and *making enemies pause to hear his bad jokes*. His first mission? Fix *Sky Samurai*, his edgy samurai-vs-dragons story, except he’s now the hero’s brother… who’s supposed to die in chapter two. Oops. Between fighting dragons with a butter knife (don’t ask) and hacking robots in his half-written cyberpunk mess, Haruto sneaks back to Earth to eat ramen and awkwardly befriend Aiko, his neighbor who thinks he’s just a weird guy with “vitamin issues.” Over time, he learns to write better characters (no more naming elves *Glitterbutt*), makes a grandma librarian cry happy tears, and realizes stories aren’t about perfect endings—they’re about fixing your mistakes. The goddess? She’s just a tired book nerd who wanted him to stop being a hermit. In the end, Haruto opens a café, finishes ALL his books, and maybe (finally) asks Aiko out. But when a kid hands him a new story to read, he grins: *“Let’s see what you’ve got.”* **Basically:** A funny, heartfelt story about a guy who sucks at finishing things… until he gets a second chance to fix his life *and* his terrible drafts.

Once Banished

This novel spoke of four rogues of Alpha, all of them so powerful in their homeland, that each had a special ability that made them unique; all of them were betrayed by someone they loved, trusted, and depended upon. Xavier Knoll, the Alpha of the Middle Land, a man bred for war, was betrayed by his trusted beta, Jaiz, and he watched as his mate was killed. With his last breath, he cursed the middle land, saying, "None of them will know peace until he is incarcerated or returned as a wraith." The curse of Xavier Knoll started surfacing when the Pegasus, a giant creature, started terrorizing the Middle Land. Blood was shed, and people lost hope as the curse kept spreading. The second Alpha, Sebastian Stan, becomes the next Alpha after he kills Xavier Knoll, the former Alpha and king of the middle land. Sebastian was an Alpha with great strength and fame. He was feared across the middle land, and no one dared cross his path. He's a brutal man. At first, Sebastian Stan thought the curse of Xavier Knoll was gibberish coming out of a dying man—not until the curse started affecting his family, cousins, and daughters. When he finally decided to avert the curse, it might be too late because Dylan was already terrorizing the middle land. The Third Alpha, Dylan Knoll, a distant relative of Xavier Knoll, heard about the death of his cousin, and he sought nothing but revenge. Dylan Knoll is a man who loves squeezing from the universe whatever it can give. He loves taking rather than giving. He was a man who preferred fighting with blades over claws. Dylan Knoll conquered every territory he came across except for the middle land. And in every territory he conquers, he will ruin and kill every living and non-living thing so that no one will live to resurface the old way. There will be only one person they will be worshiping, and there will be only one way to worship him: his way. Dylan Knoll leaves the Middle Land untouched because it was ruled by his cousin. But when he heard about his death, he sought help from Caliste, an ancient witch, and King Cassius of Mordor to conquer the middle land and defeat Sebastian Stan. The last Alpha was Rey Reed Smith, a hellhound and someone who was possessed by an ancient spirit beast. Alpha Rey Reed Smith, a hellhound, died on earth, killed by a hunter, but opened his eyes in the middle land. It was some days before he discovered that he was possessed by an ancient spirit beast, which teleported his soul to the Middle Land. The ancient spirit beast, Lord Rey, is the god of all night-walking creatures in the Middle Land. When he discovered the curse of Xavier Knoll, the brute rule of Sebastian Stan, and the deadly plan of Dylan Knoll for the middle land, he possessed the hellhound, Rey Reed Smith, and decided to use his body to cleanse the middle land. With the help of two brothers, Garry the night racer, and Gaius the archer, Rey Reed Smith found himself going deeper into the affairs of the middle land. Nonetheless, there is more to saving the middle land than Rey Reed thought.
