Liang Junhuan, an IT hacker specialist ,saw Zheng kerling, who is a medical student, with her friends at the library. He fell in love with her at first sight.
From that day onwards, he secretly followed her wherever she goes.
Junhuan have a best friend, Shawn Li, a medical student in the school. They have been friends since secondary school.
Junhuan have a heavy gambler father, Liang Junshan. His mother passed away from cancer when he was 15. After he finished his college , he ran away from home and stayed at a small rented room and got his scholarship and studied in the university.
2009.
He saw kerling crossing the road and a lorry was dashing towards her. He immediately pushed her away and his right knee got fractured due to the accident. Since then, he and kerling become friends.
Half a year later they become a pair.
But kerling did not reveal her real identity to Junhuan as she is actually Shanghai top five enterprises, Zheng kerdong’s dayghter.
2012, they have been together for three years and they stayed in a small apartment for one year.
That year, kerling found out she got pregnant after valentine day celebration. That night Junhuan also proposed to her and she accepted his proposal.
But things did not turn out what they expected. Junhuan fell and fainted in his workplace. As the nurse cannot find kerling, she called Junshan.
Junshan found back Junhuan and locked him up in a small logistics container where he worked at Yeh enterprises. He even found out that after the diagnosis, Junhuan contracted stage 2 bone cancer. He looked for Yeh jiaming, to loan a huge amount of money for Junhuan medical expenses, but in reality he used it mainly for gambling.
Junhuan fainted in the locker due to hunger and swelling of the tumor in his right knee. Junhuan immediately send him to the hospital where Sam Li, Shawn brother worked in.
kerling kept looking for Junhuan, but to no avail. Left with no choice and pregnant, she went back to her own family.
Back at the Zheng family, her parents accepted her and the baby.
Two years later.2014.
Junhuan met back kerling in Shanghai. He saw her with another man, Luo Cheng kang. She also saw him crippled with another woman, Yeh fen with a small girl. kerling gave a tight slap and left immediately.
Junhuan secretly behind fen checked on kerling and start to get close to her again. But he didn’t know that fen know about it all along.
On Christmas that year, he bought a huge teddy bear and went to the hospital where kerling worked in. Kerling accepted his gift but gave a wedding invitation card to him and told him she is going to marry Luo Cheng kang, Shanghai famous heart surgeon.
All hopes shattered like glass. Junhuan not only lost kerling but he was beaten badly by yeh fen and tortured badly. He lost the sight of his right eye and almost lost his speech due to the pouring of boiling hot water into his throat.
Junhuan spent his life miserably in the yeh family. He was treated like a dog to pay off his father’s and his own medical debts.
Sadly in late 2017, he was diagnosed with the late stage of liver cancer due to the relapse of his bone cancer, wide spreading to his liver and lungs.
