The traitorous heart thief
A fierce fire once consumed all of Rebecca's feelings for Louis. Five years passed, and when she returned, her heart was set on seeking justice for herself. What she didn't anticipate, however, was that the young boy she had brought back with her was far more cunning than she had ever imagined.
One day, the boy stood before Louis, his eyes wide and innocent. "Uncle, can you help me with something?" he asked, his voice sweet and persuasive. Louis, unable to resist the boy's innocent charm, bent down to offer his assistance. But, in a split second, the boy mischievously took advantage of the moment and, to Louis's utter disbelief, splashed him with water.
Days later, Louis, who had been feeling an overwhelming frustration, finally confronted the child. "This is my room!" he stated firmly.
The boy looked up at him, unfazed. "But I want to sleep with mommy," he replied matter-of-factly. "We've been doing that for five years." His words struck Louis like a blow. "Why is it so impossible to win her back?" he muttered, as he stared at the boy with a mix of confusion and growing irritation.
