The King of the Lost
Lyraea, a world of dark melodies and magic, almost seven times greater than earth. A world with different races, seven kingdoms and three empires, on the eight continents.
"LIGHT AND Shadow'' A novel that describes the events on Lyraea, Zyl is the protagonist who is handsome, lucky, serious, a genius and a complete opposite of me.
I am Kai, a guy with a tragic life and just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I found myself face-to-face with an unknown woman who seemed to know me a little too well.
"Ashton Coyle, why can't you be like others your age?"
She scolded, her words dripping with disdain. I raised an eyebrow, confusion etched on my face.
"Huh?"
"Apologize to your mother, young man."
She demanded, her voice stern.
"Huh...?"
Kai's mind raced as he looked up at her, a mixture of emotions swirling inside him;
'Excuse me lady, who the hell are you? And my mother is dead... Wait a minute...This name sounds a little familiar... Ashton... Ash--... Oh hell no, it can't be. Isn't Ashton Coyle the name of a third-rate villain from that novel 'Light and Shadow'?"
'The realization hit me like a ton of bricks. No, it hit me like a truck. I was now in the world of Celestia, a realm of magic and wonder, where seven kingdoms and three empires vied for power on eight great continents. And I was no longer myself, but Ashton Coyle, a character destined for humiliation...'
A wry chuckle escaped Kai's lips as he gazed up at the beautiful glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and he thought;
'Ah, how I want to beat you up, dear uncle... I wish that you remain single through out your entire life ...Ugh, why me Dear Lord? what a headache...'

In the dimly lit bar, soft candlelight dances across the polished wooden counter, casting a warm and soft glow.
Behind it, a girl is cleaning a delicate mirror, her face half-hidden by a black cat mask. Only her lips, painted crimson, were visible, curving up. Her black silk attire seemed to blend with the shadows.
A bell above the door rang, and she looked up, her gaze locking onto yours.
"Welcome, dear lost reader. I expected you..."
"Oh my, you aren't wearing a mask... Don't you know this world is a Masquerade? Here, everyone wears a mask."
"Dear Reader, are you ready to don your mask and enter this world of deception and wonder?"
"Step into the shadows...Dear Reader."
