The Era of the Great Universe
As Earth's apocalypse arrives, society's elite collectively flee into space, abandoning the remaining humans. Left behind, the protagonist gathers his own team and, through an unexpected discovery, finds a defective spaceship. He then recruits loyal soldiers who have stayed behind, organizes a formal military force, and seeks out the top scientists still left on Earth. Eventually, carrying 120,000 humans, they set off into space.
In a universe governed by the Dark Forest Theory, the protagonist and his people endure countless hardships, gaining both painful lessons and valuable rewards. Humanity soon discovers the existence of Cosmic Adapters, individuals who, though exceedingly rare, are indispensable across all civilizations.
As a wandering civilization, humanity scavenges the ruins of advanced civilizations, much like hyenas fighting other low-level and exiled civilizations for resources. They find an asteroid belt rich in energy, harvest superplants that enhance their technology, and cultivate battle-beast-like cosmic pets. They expand their population, build fleets, and finally gain a sliver of self-preservation in the vast universe.
As they continue to explore perilous frontiers and accumulate strength, they begin to uncover the true reason behind Earth's destruction. Ultimately, they set forth on a journey to unveil the ultimate truth…
