What is the meaning of Life? A question which has different answers. Many find life pointless, many find life as a journey, many find life as a way to get eternal freedom. But what is the correct answer? The cycle of Life and Death are like two sides of the same coin. Whatever may be the case, Death is always the ultimate salvation. But that doesn't sit right with Kai Mizuhara, a normal teenager who seeks to become someone respected and find the true essence of life. Born in a very reputable family of a blacksmith, Kai has seen many Royal Families as his father directly serves for the military. Kai wants to do many things, but he simply doesn't have much time. That's a harsh reality a mortal like him has to face, he can die at any given time if that's what his fate is. The God's of their world have really created a system, the one who's weak will soon perish and the strongest will strive forward and ascend the ranks, finding eternal peace. It may sound confusing but a system like this allows some mortals with great strength and wisdom to ascend further and beyond. When the light forsakes this world, will knowledge lead to salvation—or to its end? A fantasy world which takes place in a very middle aged world. That's what this novel is about.
