The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Beneath the frigid landscapes of Sweden lies a web of lies, corruption, and deadly secrets waiting to be unraveled. At its heart is Lisbeth Salander—a fiercely brilliant hacker with a mind like a blade and a past that refuses to release its grip. Scarred but unbroken, she’s an enigma: a defender of justice for others but a loner battling her own demons. When disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist is offered the chance to salvage his career, he accepts an unusual assignment: uncover the mystery behind the decades-old disappearance of Harriet Vanger, the beloved niece of a wealthy but dysfunctional industrialist family. The Vangers, cloaked in wealth and power, harbor dark, sinister truths. As Mikael digs deeper into their history, he finds himself drawn into a chilling maze of family betrayals, unspeakable crimes, and a legacy of violence that stretches far beyond what he could have imagined. Forced into an uneasy partnership with Lisbeth, Mikael discovers that she is not just an ally but a force of nature—a woman capable of uncovering truths no one else dares to see. Together, they peel back layers of deceit, facing a torrent of threats, lies, and mortal danger. But as they close in on the truth, Lisbeth’s own shadowy past rises to the surface, threatening to consume her and derail their investigation. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a masterful tale of vengeance, justice, and redemption. It is a gripping exploration of the boundaries of trust, the price of truth, and the indomitable strength of those who refuse to be silenced. Unflinching, riveting, and deeply human, this is a story that will haunt you long after the final page.

When darkness falls in love

Excerpt* As Cian removed his jacket, revealing a serpent-like tattoo on his chest, a chill ran down her spine. “Who sent you?” she asked, her voice quivering as she clutched the sheets tightly around her. Cian smirked, “Which insignificant creature would dare to command me?” Confused, she glanced at the doors, praying for someone to walk in and save her from this dangerous stranger. “Then why are you here?” she managed to ask, her heart pounding in her chest. Cian casually tossed his jacket onto the nearest chair, revealing his muscular chest and the glowing, serpent-like tattoo that coiled around it. “For you, sweetheart,” he replied, his voice deep and seductive. She stared into his piercing, emerald-green eyes, awed by their luminescence. They seemed to pierce right through her, illuminating her heart and igniting a fire within her that she couldn’t quite extinguish. As Cian moved closer, he bent down to look her directly in the eyes, his gaze penetrating. “Marry me,” he whispered, his voice low and dangerous. She recoiled in horror, pushing his hand away as she tried to back away from him. “Pardon me, my Lord, but I must refuse your offer,” she said, her voice shaking with fear. Cian let out a low, sinister laugh as he pulled off his shirt, revealing the full extent of the tattoo that seemed to writhe and twist on his skin. He crawled onto the bed, pinning her down as he loomed over her. She struggled against him, trying to break free from his grip, but he was too strong. He leaned in close, his breath hot against her skin as he whispered, “Sweetheart, what is mine is mine, and what is yours is mine.” “She froze, her heart racing as she realized the danger she was in and how ridiculously aroused she was getting. Cian, with his piercing gaze and devilish grin, knew exactly what he was doing.

Tattoo of fate

Tattoo of Fate In a world where dragons are extinct and the kingdom above reigns with unchecked power, Kaida, a young orphan from the forsaken undercity, carries a secret that could change everything. Marked at birth with a glowing, mystical tattoo, she is the last living vessel of the Dragon God, the ancient and forgotten deity of the now-extinct dragons. For years, she has concealed her extraordinary power, knowing that if the Surface Kingdoms ever discovered it, she would become a weapon to be controlled—or worse, destroyed. Kaida’s life takes a tragic turn when her forbidden love, Elara, a noblewoman from the Surface, discovers the tattoo and the immense power Kaida harbors. Fearing its potential, Elara betrays Kaida, selling her to the rulers of the Surface. Now hunted by those who seek to use her for their own agendas, Kaida is thrust into a deadly game where every alliance is fragile, and every step could lead to her downfall. In her flight from the Surface Kingdoms, Kaida encounters Aeron, a fierce and principled warrior from the top side, who was once sent to capture her. Disillusioned by the corrupt kingdom she serves, Aeron defies her orders and chooses to protect Kaida instead. As their paths intertwine, Aeron becomes both a guardian and an unlikely companion, offering Kaida a chance at redemption and love after the betrayal that shattered her heart. But the Dragon God within Kaida is waking, and with it, a force far more dangerous than she ever imagined. As her powers grow, Kaida must decide whether to embrace her divine heritage, risking the return of dragons to a world unprepared for their wrath, or to destroy the tattoo, ending the God of Dragons’ influence and sealing her fate forever. Caught between loyalty and betrayal, power and self-doubt, Kaida’s journey is one of self-discovery, painful choices, and the search for love in a world that has never been kind to her. In a final, heart-wrenching decision, Kaida must choose: will she let the Dragon God reignite the flames of destruction, or will she defy the fate written in her very skin to protect those she loves? --- A/N:I had some help making this book(help in polishing my vocabulary with A.I), obviously i don't know how to use big words...so. yea. The Art of Falling Again

“He’s not coming”, Serena said not knowing how to break the news to her best friend that she had just been dumped on her wedding day. “What?”, Maya laughed as she thought this was one of the other jokes Serena made to cheer her up as she was nervous. “Here”, said Serena, giving her a letter… “he dropped this for you”. Maya the letter and opened it… her hands shaking as she was just about to confirm her worst fear. As Maya's eyes scanned the letter, her face crumbled, and her body began to shake. The words on the page blurred together as her eyes were full with tears, “he’s gone… he’s not coming back”. Maya said as she broke down. Her world came crashing down around her. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, unable to catch her breath. The letter slipped from Maya's fingers, floating gently to the floor as she collapsed onto the bed, her body wracked with sobs. Serena rushed to her side, wrapping her in a tight hug as she tried to comfort her. "It's okay, Maya. I'm here for you. We'll get through this together," Serena whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. But Maya couldn't hear her. She was lost in a vortex of pain and heartbreak, unable to escape the agony that threatened to consume her. As the minutes ticked by, Maya's sobs slowly subsided, replaced by a numbness that spread through her like a cold, dark fog. She felt empty, hollow, like a part of her had been ripped away. Serena handed her a box of tissues, and Maya wiped her face, trying to compose herself. But as she looked around the room, she was reminded of the wedding that was supposed to take place today. The dress, the flowers, the cake – everything was ready, except for the groom. Maya's eyes landed on the letter, still lying on the floor. She felt a surge of anger and hurt, and she knew she had to read it again. This time, she would make herself understand the words, no matter how much they hurt. With a deep breath, Maya picked up the letter and began to read...
