You And I And You And Me

Pearl and Winter- Been waiting for you

Pearl is a daughter of a well-known socialite, so she has the duty to maintain a good image in front of everyone. As expected from her, she is good in studies, has a lot of friends, be it teachers or classmates, friends or relatives, everyone loves her, but nobody knows the real Pearl. They can see and know the façade that she had put up to show them. However, she made one mistake and everything was about get shattered. Her parents would ground her forever, if they knew about what she had done. Her nightmares were gruelling, she had no answers and didn’t know where to look for it either. And therefore, she was quite upset that night and had mistakenly taken some pills for her headache. But she should have known better. The result, a video of her from that party was about to be circulated. And she had no idea how to stop it or get out this situation. She did not dare to go to her parents for help and all her friends had abandoned her. Just as she was about to give up, and surrender to the consequences of her mistake, Pearl meets Edwina, who offers her a helping hand. Edwina promises to undo everything, make the video vanish. Even the person who made that video and was blackmailing her.. if that was the only way to save Pearl. And nobody would know a thing about this incident or the video. The catch? Pearl had to search for a girl. Edwina did not know her name, but had a picture of hers. If Pearl does not manage to find this girl in three months, then Edwina would leak the video. But, this time it would be to a media house.. and that would be worse than it getting circulated in her school. But, then again.. as soon as Pearl looks at the picture of the girl Edwina wants her to find, she is dumbfounded. The girl in the picture was the same girl, Pearl had been dreaming about. The freaking nightmare girl! This increases her curiosity, because only Edwina or this girl can answer all her question. Why Pearl kept seeing this girl every night and why did she always wake up feeling depressed. Because, Edwina refuses to give her any detail and they don’t know where this girl was. Pearl uses her social media power and her parent’s connections to look for this girl, as soon as she can. This girl holds the key to most of her life’s problem and Pearl wanted answers. But, how would she find this girl? And did this girl know anything about the nightmares Pearl was having? Three month is fast approaching, but neither Pearl nor Edwina had succeeded in finding this girl. Until, one day Pearl finds that girl standing in front of her. Winter Braun, that was the nightmare girl’s name. This is the sequel of my first book ‘Make you mine’ It is a reincarnation of Melody and Lyrical, where Edwina plays the cupid. And It's All About You

Edmund Aldrich has spent his life trapped in the shadows of his past, never expecting anything—or anyone—to change his fate. That is until he meets Elora Noelle, a woman as breathtaking as she is mysterious. She isn’t just another fleeting presence in his life—she is the force that shakes his world, the light that pierces his darkness. But she is also something more… his immortal soulmate. Bound by destiny yet torn by secrets, their love is tested by forces beyond their control. When Elora is faced with an impossible choice—Edmund’s love or the haunting truth behind his past—everything they’ve built is at risk of unraveling. As painful memories resurface, Edmund must confront the secrets Elora has kept hidden and decide whether love is truly stronger than fate. Can they defy destiny and rewrite their story, or will the past forever hold them captive? In a tale of passion, sacrifice, and undying devotion, their love will be tested like never before. . . . *A part from story* I kiss her again, then move down her jawline to her neck. I trace my fingers across the thin skin of her collarbone. She closes her eyes, her cheeks are flushed and she bury her fingers in my warm hair. Telling me how much she likes this, likes me, loves me... "I have loved you for a very long time, Edmund", she whispers against my breath. "From even before that farewell. And that's why I insisted Charlie on taking me to the farewell so that I could meet you." Meeting her again was never a coincidence. Her words surprised me. "But I was at the farewell you know." "Yeah I got to know that but not before I met you the day of our introduction and I read your mind." I smile. I don't know why I smile but thinking about all these, how we met and how we fell for each other makes me smile. But it came out bit like a chuckle. She laughs. When she laughed I wanted her again. I love the sound of her laugh. I take both her hands on both of mine. "Pretty dramatic way of founding each other I see." "Surely". "Oh wait! I'm thinking I'll take that as my inspiration for my novel." "OH MY GOD! EDMUND." She laughs even louder this time. . . Cover credit: Author Hesreth

Half me and half...

"Get your hands off me!" she wrestled against my grip, so I held her even tighter. "Put this on!" I groaned, toiling to keep her in place and wishing again I’d worn the damn gloves. The feel of her warm skin under my arm and palm wasn’t helping my focus. "I'm not taking you home like this!" "You don't tell me what to do!" she snapped, thrashing to break free of my hold as I fumbled with the cloak in my other hand, trying to drape it over her bare shoulders. "I'm not going home! Let me go, I said!" "Did you really think I got you out of there just to let you wander the streets, almost naked, like a lunatic?" That stopped her. "What did you call me?!" "LU-NA-TIC." "You... You…! Take your hands off me, you insolent brute!" Enraged, she yanked her arm too abruptly and lost her balance. I caught her, wrapped her in the cloak, and threw her over my shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN!" She shrieked and flailed, but I ignored her, making my way to the Commander’s house, which, thanks to Braa, was only two streets away. Since the entire population was in the square for the ridiculous festival, no one intervened at the frantic cries of the wild creature. No wonder in the ten years I've known the Commander, I've never heard that he has a daughter. She must’ve been kept locked away. Strangely, she suddenly went still and quiet. Had she grown tired, worried about attracting attention, or finally realized how inappropriate it was to show up at her parents' doorstep in this state? She didn’t seem to care before. With every step, my anxiety grew—she was limp. "Hey!" No answer. Seriously?! "Hey, you!" Nothing. A bad feeling crept over me, so I pulled her off my shoulder and into my arms. Her head fell against my chest—unconscious. "Hey! Hey, you!" I shook her, but she didn’t react. Panic surged through me. Had she fainted? Had I held her too tight? Lifting her more securely, I sprinted toward the Commander's house.
