When a Death God Falls Inlove
For eons, the Death God has existed in the shadows, neither living nor dying, only watching. Humans fascinate him. They love and they hate, they dream, and they despair, they cling to life yet throw it away. They chase passion as if it were air, only to let it slip through their fingers. He finds them foolish. He finds them tragic. And yet, he can never look away.
But when the old man speak of what life is, love, true, reckless, all-consuming, something stirs within him. A question the Death God never dared to ask: What does it mean to live?
Drawn to the flickering candle of the old man's life, the Death God lingers longer than should. Listens, watches and for the first time, wonders... Can a being who brings death ever experience life? Can ever live and love?
As the old man’s time runs out, Death whispers his answer. But perhaps he is not ready to let go.
A darkly poetic tale of fate, love, and the one who walks somewhere between the line.
