Babzz, a teenager from America, moves to Mombasa to live with his grandmother and learn about the culture where he was born. Adjusting to life in a new environment, Babzz struggles with routines and expectations. His first day of school sets the stage for a dramatic encounter. After staying up all night playing video games, he wakes up late and rushes to class. On his way, he stumbles upon Ali, a fellow student, being beaten by a group of bullies. Despite being new and knowing no one, Babzz intervenes, showcasing impressive fighting skills as he takes down the attackers.
Ali is shocked that someone would help him, especially since most of their schoolmates ostracize him, seeing him as a troublemaker. Babzz, however, recognizes Ali’s situation and offers him advice, urging him not to let himself be a target again. The brief but intense encounter sparks an unexpected connection between the two boys.
At school, Babzz is further introduced to his classmates, including Digler, a new transfer student from Nairobi.
