A Love Beyond The Horizon

In the glittering world of 19th-century high society, where marriage is a strategic affair and personal desires are secondary to duty, Eleanor Hawthorne stands at the precipice of her future. Beautiful, poised, and well-bred, she is the epitome of a noblewoman, bound by the expectations of her family and society to marry well. Her every step is carefully calculated, her every decision weighed against the demands of propriety. But beneath her composed exterior, Eleanor feels trapped by a life that values social standing over personal happiness. At a grand winter ball, as Eleanor dances with suitor after suitor, her world shifts when she shares an unexpected, electric waltz with Jonathan Ashford, a mysterious and charismatic man with a past that doesn't fit the mold of the elite around her. Jonathan, a man who has seen the world beyond the gilded cages of aristocracy, awakens something in Eleanor that she has long buried: a longing for freedom, passion, and the possibility of a life that is her own. As the ball unfolds, Eleanor is forced to confront the reality of her situation—her well-meaning but controlling Aunt Agatha, who pressures her to marry for social standing; the wealthy but emotionally distant Lord Hargrave, who sees her as a perfect match in name, if not in heart; and the expectations of a society that demands conformity. Yet, it is Jonathan’s presence—his quiet defiance of societal norms and his deep connection to Eleanor—that challenges her to reconsider the life that has been laid out for her. Torn between her duty to her family and the growing feelings for Jonathan, Eleanor embarks on a journey of self-discovery. She must navigate the treacherous waters of love, duty, and desire while deciding what kind of woman, and what kind of life, she truly wants. In The Winter Waltz, the dance of love is more than a step to be mastered—it is a risk, a choice, and a chance to break free from a world that demands perfection in exchange for happiness.

Harry's a she

Set in an alternate wizarding world shaped by a matriarchal society, this story reimagines the familiar backdrop of Hogwarts and its surrounding conflicts. Power is inherited through the female line, and pureblood families fiercely guard their legacy amidst growing tensions with Muggleborns. The imbalance in the number of witches and wizards has made pureblood males valuable but objectified commodities, intensifying the social and political struggles within the magical world. At the heart of the story is Arcturus Regulus Black, the reincarnated son of Regulus Black. Carrying memories of a past life, Arcturus refuses to follow in the footsteps of Holly Potter, the female equivalent of the Boy Who Lived. Instead, his ambition is to break free from the constraints of his birthright, gaining power to rewrite his destiny in a society where he is marginalized by virtue of his gender. Arcturus is not alone in his reincarnation. Ronda Weasley, the female reincarnation of Ron, and Serena Prince, the female reincarnation of Severus Snape, navigate their own struggles as they reconcile their former lives with the constraints and expectations of this matriarchal world. The group faces questions of identity, legacy, and loyalty, balancing their memories of the past with the possibilities of the present. Their journey unfolds against a backdrop of political turmoil. Holly Potter, destined to fight Voldemort, plays the central role in a fight that echoes the original timeline but is subtly altered by the presence of the reincarnated souls. Simultaneously, the enigmatic Aurora Malfoy—Draco's older sister and another reincarnated soul—must contend with her family's legacy in this transformed world. Meanwhile, Hogwarts, led by Alba Dumbledore, becomes a battleground of ideologies. Dumbledore, though a figure of wisdom, unconsciously upholds the traditions of the matriarchy, while Gellert Grindelwald rises as a voice for men’s rights, creating an additional layer of conflict. The struggle between these ideologies mirrors the broader fight against Voldemort, adding complexity to the characters’ decisions. In a story that mixes politics, societal critique, and the power of memory, the young protagonists confront questions of whether to preserve the world they now inhabit or risk everything to reshape it. Their choices will define the fate of the wizarding world, testing the limits of friendship, power, and identity in a society where nothing is as it once was. Note, this story will NOT have R18 scenes at least for the first volume, if it then does, there will be a tag and you can pass. To summarize this world, it's a matriarchal version of the Harry Potter world while the muggle world remains the same. With all this shit, there are half a dozen reincarnated people of all age (mostly Hogwarts's students) who will make butterfly effects while trying to adapt to this world, including the MC. I decided to write this book as a study, I wanted to see what would happen if I decided to create parameters according to the book and then I would try adding variables to see the changes. The result is that the world is a matriarchy which thus led me to add parameters to explain the reason as to why it's a matriarchy and then to add seven reincarnated persons who will each add butterfly effects.

The Ludus King

In the year 3147 the Roman Imperium had finally achieved its goal of colonizing its own corner of the galaxy. Unlike in our own world the Rome of this one never fell, but instead grew to encompass the whole of the earth, and overtime spread itself, and humanity, among the stars. Yet even with the marvelous advancements in technology, healthcare, welfare, and every other category required for a thriving society. There is still one roman tradition that refuses to die. GLADIATORS!! And we should all be glad for it, because during the year 3149, just two years after the long and exhausting colonization campaigns were ended, mankind learned that it was not alone in the galaxy, let alone the universe. It had just stepped onto a much bigger stage where entire planets and even star systems were used as bargaining chips in universal gladiator games. Wars on a galactic scale are far too destructive to simply be allowed, if left unchecked the vast majority of life in the universe would cease to be. Therefore each race recognized by the galactic or universal council (it changes depending on the scale of the race itself) must submit champions or gladiators to represent them in the games. The winners gain unfathomable rewards, the losers perish or worse have their entire species enslaved. Please join our hero as he embarks upon his own perilous journey as a lanista, will he rise above the masses, or fall like so many others before him? Or perhaps his own latent gifts may bring him to a height, or depth hitherto unexplored by any before.
