Vessel Of Hatred

Vessel of Shadows

After losing everything, Daron Lamb is consumed by grief and guilt, until he's recruited by the Special Magic Force, an elite unit protecting the balance between magical and non-magical worlds. Together, they uncover a secret organization determined to free the God of Chaos, a force sealed away to protect humanity. As Daron investigates, he uncovers a chilling link between the group and his tragic past. Driven by revenge, he joins forces with his new allies to stop them. But as the truth behind the organization’s motives begins to surface, Daron is forced to confront a disturbing possibility: freeing the God of Chaos, though orchestrated by his enemies, might not bring the destruction he's been led to believe. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Daron's gaze drifted downward to his chest. Below, the stark contrast of a faint blue light against his white skin caught his eye—a soft glow emanating from his own chest. It softly pulsed, a gentle luminescence that ebbed and flowed with the rhythm of his own heartbeat. Baffled, he just sat there for a few moments, observing. As his fingers touched the source of light, he was surprised to find that everything felt normal, as if it had always been this way. It was like nothing had changed at all. Daron's eyes widened in disbelief when he noticed a strange black liquid seeping into the wounds on his chest—a substance like ink, flowing from within him. It moved with purpose, filling the gaps left by the fat butcher and stanching the flow of blood that had painted his skin red. "By the gods," he gasped, the sight both unsettling and miraculous. The black liquid quickly solidified, forming scars as black as the night sky. His eyes remained fixed on the eerie scene, his breath steadying to a normal rhythm. He was a magician now… it felt strange. He didn't feel particularly different. Sure, a mysterious substance had just mended his broken skin, but other than that, he didn't feel like he could do anything… new, anything special. He stretched out his hand, trying to summon a sharp wind to cut down his shackles. Nothing happened. Next, a flame, to burn down his cell. Nothing happened. “Figures,” he said to himself. “Why would it be easy?” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For news and feedback, feel free to join the Vessel of Shadows Discord: https://discord.gg/dmCYCKNwx7

What will he do to get his revenge? What is he willing to sacrifice for it. ------------ 1. I would like to firstly say that this is my first time writing, so don't expect everything to be perfect for a while. 2. This story is a slow/fast-paced reading. It'll have a mix of both. Some chapters will feel slower because it is, and others will feel faster because it is. 3. It does have romance in it and I wasn't sure to add cultivation because it's more like meditation and like ki gathering and things. However, after going through my thoughts, it was basically the same thing, so I just did it. 4. It's a little all over the place for I'd say the first 6–8 chapters maybe more? But It'll will slowly come together, hopefully… 5. If you do enjoy this, make sure to give it a review and ask other people to read! 6. If there are any questions at all, ask in the comments, and I'll be answering questions every 10 chapters. 7. So update to the list above ^ Romance has been removed due to it taking the first slot and having it show up primarily (I think primarily) as romance and not showing the others before you click on the actual book. It'll still have romance, so don't worry. Nothing will change 8. I would also like to clarify that this is an original work by me, and the clothes i decided to use for the characters, "hanfu" mainly, I do not mean any disrespect to anyone by using it as a novel that is made within america if anyone thought anything like that. I'm simply doing it because i like the design and i think they look extremely cool and also beautiful to me. So again i don't mean any disrespect if im wording any of it wrong. I just really like them.

Edge of Nothing: Last Star of Dawn

Her life was simple but full of love. Growing up under the care and affection of her parents, she found joy in their humble home alongside her little brother. Despite the poverty they lived in, she had everything she needed: a family, love, and peace. But peace is a fragile thing, easily shattered. One fateful day, a young man entered her life like a storm, uninvited and unwelcome. What began as a passing interest in her soon morphed into a dangerous obsession. At first, she tried to dismiss his attention, hoping he would move on. But his fixation grew darker and more consuming, stealing away the innocence of her once-happy world. “Why can’t you just leave me alone?” she had cried, her voice trembling with both anger and fear. “Because you’re mine,” he had replied, his voice calm but chilling. “You just don’t realize it yet.” His obsession became a force of destruction. He tore through her life like a wildfire, leaving nothing untouched. The final blow came when her little brother, her greatest source of joy, was taken from her—killed by the same man who claimed to love her.
