Dreaming Freedom Read

Freedom Jumper: An Unwanted Reincarnation

The cycle of life is by no means infinite. There must have been an error. Practically overnight, a successful man who died at the age of 130 years old became someone new. His name was Elijah, and while fate was not against him, he was an anomaly within the kingdom Elijah was born into. For over six thousand years, a lone kingdom of over three hundred thousand citizens had been rapidly growing and expanding ever since the settlers created a haven unknowingly around what gives them life. The air, water, food, and everything organic is allowed to prosper with the aid of what magic can accomplish. However, some would say a kingdom that never chooses to expand is a kingdom meant to perish, so how has this kingdom survived for as long as it has? Dungeon diving, mystery solving, and a fatal flaw of magic that can possibly be negated with a simple spell. Unfathomable existences that date back to the creation of literally everything will fall, and the rise of new kingdoms with a common goal to destroy something plaguing the world will rise. What seems like sunshine and rainbows is simply light shining through stained glass… Fake. The taste of freedom in Elijah's past life is now wildly different than the potential in his new life. ———— This novel goes into great detail about the ways of the people. What seems like a population of people who do not have much knowledge, show how they found their way by “feeling”, or by anecdotal(personal) evidence. This is by no means the main point of this story, but something within my personal I am seeing come to fruition.

Dreaming Immortal

"Was it worth it?" An ethereal voice sounded in the mind of the young man that was floating in the starry river. This youth has a white long hair and eyebrows that made him look unfettered. However, a hint of sorrow can be felt on his tranquil face. It makes one feel lonely. "I've finally reached the summit of the world. I am now an Immortal." As the young man freely let himself be carried by the currents of time, he looked back to his life that was full of sacrifices and tragedies. "Was it worth it?" The Immortal young man repeated the question of the ethereal voice as tears fell down on his serene closed eyes. "Oh, Heaven." The Immortal's voice sounded in his mind. "If I am an Immortal then, why can't I go back time?" "Oh, child." The ethereal voice replied. "There is no such thing as going back time. The world only revolves forward. Time itself is only a concept; to put description to the events, to the happenings, to the certainties.." "..even I, the Heaven itself, do not have this kind of omnipotent power. As after all, it does not exist." The Immortal let out a mouthful of air full of indignant feeling as he opened his eyes that looked like the sun and moon. "I understand that being Immortal is a lonely path, Heaven. Yet, despite prepared, how I wish I did not pursue this after all." "However, you are here already." The ethereal voice responded. "You are not alone, child. You have me to accompany you for the rest of the infinity." Hearing the ethereal voice response, the Immortal only let out a sigh as he mentioned, "Maybe I'm just tired of living, Heaven." "I will bid good night for now." The Immortal's eyes closed once more as he quietly fell back to sleep. "Sweet dreams, Immortal." Seeing this, the Heaven did not stop the Immortal from going back to sleep as its final voice faded.
