Blessed to be the Villain

Ethan's head throbbed violently as he opened his eyes, his vision hazy and unfocused. A dull ringing filled his ears, drowning out his thoughts. "What’s happening…?" he thought, his mind sluggish, struggling to catch up with reality. One moment, he was asleep—or at least, he thought he was—and the next, searing pain forced him awake. His vision swam, shapes blurring together in a disorienting mess. But then, muffled noises filtered through the haze—frantic, panicked sounds. Someone was trying to scream, their voice smothered, choked by something. A cold shiver ran down his spine. As his sight gradually sharpened, Ethan's breath hitched. He was on all fours, looming over someone. A girl. Her body twisted and writhed beneath him, ropes biting into her wrists and ankles. Her mouth was gagged, muffling her cries. Her wide brown eyes, brimming with fear and fury, glared up at him. Ethan's body locked in place, his blood running cold. "What the…?" His mind reeled, thoughts slamming into each other in chaotic disarray. "What kind of bizarre dream is this?" Panic clawed at his chest. His breath came in ragged, uneven gasps as he scrambled backward, only to realize his limbs felt sluggish, uncooperative, like they didn’t belong to him. "Is this… is this some kind of twisted fantasy I never knew I had?" A sickening thought slithered through his mind, making his stomach churn. The girl's frantic squirming slowed for a moment, her gaze flickering with confusion as she took in his expression—his trembling hands, his wide, horrified eyes. But the fear returned just as quickly. She struggled harder, her body arching, her muffled screams rising in pitch. Dare to Be Mine

She hadn’t expected to be cornered like this, not here, not now. His tall frame loomed over her, blocking any escape as he stood inches from her, pinning her to the wall with his presence alone. His hand rested just above her head, his fingers brushing the cool surface of the locker, creating a barrier that trapped her in place. Her breath caught, her heart thundering in her chest as she realized how little space was left between them. His eyes were dark, full of something she couldn’t decipher but desperately wanted to understand. He stared at her, not saying anything at first, just letting the silence stretch between them. She could feel her pulse race, her face flushing, her body frozen, even though she wanted to push him away. “What are you going to do about it?” he asked, his voice smooth, teasing, and filled with a challenge. There was something in the way he spoke, something that made her stomach twist with a mixture of confusion and excitement. She opened her mouth to say something—anything—but the words wouldn’t come. Her hands hung at her sides, unsure whether to push against his chest or hold herself back. She couldn’t tell if she wanted him to step closer or if she just wanted to run far away from the intensity that radiated from him. “Stop…” she murmured, but the word felt too weak, too powerless against the gravity pulling them together. “What do you want from me?” His lips curled into a small, almost predatory smile. “I want you to stop pretending you don’t feel it,” he said softly, his gaze never leaving hers. His closeness was suffocating, but in the most intoxicating way. The tension between them was palpable, like a storm ready to break. She could feel the heat of his body against hers, could hear the steady rhythm of his breathing as if they were the only two people in the world. She wanted to fight back, wanted to be strong and resist, but something in her—something deep inside—kept her rooted to the spot. He was her classmate, the guy everyone knew, the one with that effortless confidence that made all the girls swoon. And now here he was, making her feel things she wasn’t sure how to deal with. Her hands trembled, caught between pushing him away and giving in to the wild, dizzying pull she felt toward him. She was terrified, but there was also a spark of curiosity, of something she couldn’t quite control. “I’m not… ready for this,” she whispered, though her voice shook with uncertainty. “I don’t even know what you’re doing.” He didn’t answer right away, his gaze softening just enough to let her know that he was listening, that he wasn’t in a rush. He leaned in slightly, his breath brushing against her cheek. “I think you do,” he murmured. “You just don’t want to admit it yet.” Amidst the whirlwind of school friendships, and the pressure. Can anyone dare to be open to the possibility with someone who seems so unreachable?

The Hero Does not want to be a Hero

Kail, a 23-year-old customer support agent, found himself in an unexpected predicament – he was somehow transported into the world of his beloved RPG game, "Stopping Ragnarok." To his astonishment, he wasn't alone in this bizarre adventure. Eight other players, supposedly the chosen ones destined to rescue the world within the game, joined him on this quest. Their mission? To thwart the sinister forces threatening to eradicate humanity in Terra Mercuria. It all sounded quite epic, at least in theory. However, as they delved into their adventure, reality quickly dispelled any grandiose expectations. The warrior turned out to be rather, well, twinkish, not exactly the imposing figure Kail had imagined. The mage had an odd fascination with dark magic, which was more intriguing than practical. The healer, a girl, had an unexpected twist – she possessed an anatomical surprise that defied convention. The Rogue, meant to be stealthy and ruthless, was far too polite and kind-hearted to fit the bill. The Ranger, whose title suggested environmental awareness, displayed a conspicuous disregard for nature's well-being. The Paladin, expected to be virtuous and noble, seemed more interested in flirting than righteousness. The Necromancer, a master of the undead, harbored a comical fear of his own creations. And then there was the Hero, the one designated to lead this motley crew. To Kail's surprise, the Hero vehemently rejected his role and instead clung to Kail, the Bard, as if he were a lifeline in this absurd world. So, while their mission to save Terra Mercuria remained a noble pursuit in theory, the reality of their adventure was shaping up to be quite the comedic spectacle.
