And I Never Saw You Coming

The Curse I Never Chose

In a town where secrets linger like shadows, the hero’s life is defined by silence and tension. Years ago, his sister died under mysterious circumstances, and ever since, his family has been torn apart by blame and suspicion. His father has cut all ties with his brother, the uncle who was held responsible—but whispers hint that something far more dangerous was at play. Living an ordinary life with his close friends Derek and Mathew, the hero has never questioned the strange distance between his family members. But when Mathew’s parents die in a suspicious accident, hidden truths begin to unravel. His friend's family, it seems, had been protecting the hero from something... something that now stirs from deep within. As his family’s estate teeters on the edge of ruin, the hero begins to notice unsettling changes—unexplainable instincts, vivid dreams, and a growing sense of power. A chance encounter with a mysterious girl from a rival clan only deepens the mystery, drawing him into a world he never knew existed. With each step closer to the truth, the hero realizes his sister’s death, his friend’s loss, and his own awakening are all connected to a secret long buried—and a danger long forgotten. But as dark forces circle, one question haunts him: Was the real threat ever his uncle, or has something far more sinister been pulling the strings all along? In a town where loyalty is tested, and nothing is as it seems, the past may hold answers, but it also holds monsters. Some things are better left undiscovered.

Come, Just as You Are

Dear Diary, What is going on!? Am I seeing things- are my eyes going bad!? I keep on seeing these gray hazy shapes beside people! And no, they're definitely not shadows! They shape is completely different from what it's next to- well, most of the time. I'll just ignore it and maybe it'll go away. -Week later- Dear Diary and my sanity if it's listening, Things are going from delusional to outright cuckoo crazy! I swear I saw a face in the gray globs I've been seeing, but it wasn't scary or anything, it was like catching the face of an angel. And it wasn't like he had perfect features or anything, but his eyes. The care and heartfelt love in them was so... unbelievable? I guess? I can't explain it... I can neither explain what I saw today, but it wasn't the sort of spooky but endearing sort of thing I saw yesterday, but a bewildering (?, yeah, I would put it that way) scene of a witch riding on a broom through out traffic on the highway. Every once in a while, she would disappear into one of the cars and then jump into another one. Strangely enough, after she came out, most of the people driving would either start becoming careless or be shooting off their horn at another car. I am seriously considering going to see a psychiatrist, but I don't want to explain why to my dad, so I'll just ignore it for now. Surely, it'll go away!? -Week later- Dear Diary!!! It hasn't gone away!!!! It's getting worse!! I keep on seeing roads disappearing and being replaced with wide open fields as if no man has touched it before! Not only that, sometimes I see part of a building missing as if a line was drawn straight down in a clean cut and a forest begins as if it was natural! I've been keeping my distance from these strange things I've seen, but now I wonder if I should investigate? I picked a flower from one of my 'hallucinations' and it was real! Maybe, the rest is real too? Could it be possible? But if it is, why did it have to be me? I'm just a normal girl in high school trying to graduate so I can go to college with a dance scholarship. Maybe go on a few dates or see if Sean would help me find a guy from the soccer team? They are so hot! Isn't that hard enough for a girl? -Couple of days later- Dear Diary!!!!!! I have HUGE NEWS! I'm not crazy after all, I actually found someone who gave me some answers! His name... did I ask him? I'm sure I did, but I don't remember! Darn my horrible memory that acts like a willful child choosing what it wants and doesn't! Anyway, I atleast remember the most important thing- I'm not crazy! So it turns out, I came across our forgotten world. Or should I say kingdom. Anyway, he tried to explain that the world is like a coin with 2 faces on it- same world but two parts that can't face each other. Although, we did at one point, but that was before the rebellion and this really evil guy took a third of the kingdom to go up against the king. He didn't win though and retreated. .... but then, what was it? He put out a bet to the king? or something? Ah, faulty memory, I'll have to ask again. But in the long run- he and his minions are fighting the King and his loyal people for our world.... or something. I don't think it has anything to do with me, I'll just enjoy the new scenery I get to see now. -Couple of Months Later- "EXCUSE ME!? You want me to do WHAT NOW!? I must've heard you wrong!"

Coming For The Lost Fourteenth

DO ADD "Llaellen's Updates" BOOK IN YOUR LIBRARY TO GET THE LATEST UPDATES ABOUT MY PLANS FROM HERE ON OUT "Damn bastards!! You dare do such things in my presence. Let's see you dare." "You damn jerk, you dare run off to play only to suddenly lose contact to us? Let me pummel you to death." "And for you people, I shall get you back for this once I return!!" She didn't want to be there, she wants to live her long life in leisure. But then one had just to disappear for so long and her other companions just came up with the BRIGHTEST idea of ganging up on her and pushing her to go and look for him. Listen to the sarcasm when she used the word 'brightest'. She didn't think it would be easy but she never thought it would be very difficult. 'This place became so noisy,' she thought after knowing the current condition of the place they are supposed to watch over. Why? Because they are the angels known to the people in the land. A land filled with Players, and the indication of their strengths are the numbers in the corners of their eyes. And she and her companions were called angels because they have four numbers that not one in the land could ever have. Or that was how it was supposed to be. "Someone dared create an artificial one, let's see what you got. Once I find you I will show you what the real deal is," she declared. **** Do read my other stories: SHE'S THAT KNIGHT KNOWN AS ZERO (COMPLETED) VENGEANCE TO THE ROYAL ONES (COMPLETED) RESTARTING CHAPTER BOOK FINALE (COMPLETED) VERACITY OF THE PAST (COMPLETED) REBIRTH: STUBBORNLY FULFILLING A PROMISE (COMPLETED) LEFT BEHIND BY TIME (COMPLETED) CHAINS LIFTED: HER SECOND ACT (ONGOING) LLAELLEN'S UPDATES (NEVER ENDING) Disclaimer: Cover Photo not mine... I saw you in my dreams

Sai is an introspective young man with a penchant for quiet moments of reflection, spending his free time in parks and reading novels that evoke deep emotions. His life is routine, punctuated by occasional daydreams and wistful thoughts of a love that seems distant yet eerily familiar. One fateful day at the office, Sai is introduced to Kiara Mehra, a strikingly confident and charming new hire who claims they were married in a past life. Her assertion is not just a joke; it’s a deep conviction she holds, fueled by vivid dreams that feel more like memories. This revelation unsettles Sai but also stirs something within him—a vague, inexplicable sense of familiarity. Kiara is assigned as Sai's mentee, and the two develop a bond marked by mutual curiosity and a growing undercurrent of attraction. Kiara’s unfiltered warmth and Sai’s cautious demeanor complement each other, but her past-life claims remain a source of mystery and intrigue, fueling office gossip and Sai’s internal conflict. As Sai mentors Kiara, he is drawn to her sincerity and determination, but her insistence on their connection challenges his logical nature. Their relationship evolves from colleagues to friends, and their shared moments—matching watches, synchronized habits, and unspoken understanding—hint at an unexplainable connection that transcends time. Their bond deepens until one tragic day when an accident involving Sai and Kiara changes everything. Sai saves Kiara from being hit by a car, sustaining serious injuries in the process. Kiara is overcome with guilt and trauma, feeling responsible for his condition. However, the aftermath of the accident has an unexpected twist: Kiara wakes up unable to remember Sai or the accident. Her mind suppresses the memories as a defense mechanism, leaving Sai heartbroken yet determined to protect her peace. Sai makes the difficult decision to transfer to another branch, believing that distance will help Kiara heal without the burden of her suppressed memories. He carries his love for her silently, watching her from afar as she moves to London for further studies, unaware of their shared history. A year passes. Kiara’s life is seemingly normal, but her subconscious keeps pulling her back to Sai through dreams that become increasingly vivid and emotionally charged. On her birthday, Kiara is flooded with fragments of memories that feel too real to dismiss. Her parents, noticing her distress, reveal pieces of her forgotten past, leading her to rediscover the connection she once shared with Sai. Moved by the realization, Kiara returns to the park where she first felt the depth of their bond. To her surprise, Sai is there, sitting on the same bench, lost in thought. Their reunion is poignant, filled with unspoken emotions and quiet acknowledgment of the time they lost. Sai is hesitant, fearing he will disrupt the fragile balance Kiara has rebuilt, but Kiara is resolute. She apologizes for forgetting him and confesses her love, rekindling the bond they once shared. The story concludes with hope and renewal as Sai and Kiara decide to face their future together, embracing the love that survived lifetimes and transcended memory
