Trapped In His Debt
Crescentia’s world shattered the day her parents died in a car crash. As if losing them wasn’t enough, her uncle and aunt stole their will, seized all their properties, and threw her and her little sister out of their own home.
Then came the ultimate betrayal—her boyfriend, Lucian, dumped her the moment she lost her wealth, only to get together with her cousin.
“You know my family can’t accept you as my girlfriend anymore because you’re poor now,” he said, his hands wrapped around her cousin’s waist.
Thinking nothing would make her feel worse, her little sister fell gravely ill once again, needing urgent medical care. Desperate, Crescentia begged her aunt and uncle for help, only for him to sneer and suggest she sell her body if she needed money so badly.
“Noella is not the first child in the whole world to die due to a disease. If you need money so badly, try being a hooker. I hear it pays well. You’re twenty and an adult so you can’t be the cause of someone's arrest.” Her aunt and uncle laughed at her.
With clenched fists, she promised, “I’m going to take back everything you stole from me. And once I find evidence that you’re the ones who killed my parents, I’ll make sure you regret ever being born.”
Devastated and lost, she decided to work at a club, not as a hooker but as a waitress. However, a car nearly ran her over while she was deep in thoughts.
Furious, she cursed at the driver, unaware their paths would cross again. At the club, she spotted him. Unable to resist, she intentionally spilled a drink on him.
Crescentia’s little sister’s health deteriorated even more, forcing her to reconsider.
But when she arrived at her first booking, she was horrified to discover that her client was none other than the man she had insulted—and soaked in champagne.
“Why are you glaring at me like that? You look like you’re plotting my murder,” Damian mused, a smirk playing on his lips. “Or do you want to throw another drink in my face?” He handed her a glass of champagne. “Go ahead. I dare you.”
With rage burning in her eyes, Crescentia didn’t hesitate. She grabbed the glass and splashed it all over him.
But what happens when he decides to help her with her revenge, while she gives him more of herself?
